Wickes Waterlooville

I was in your store in Waterlooville 2023.10.0201 pm ,the sales person who has a nose ring -and false eyelashes is rude , that's how i feel.Dear WickesI feel a bit uncomfortable, she looks at people with a grimace and talking something into the phone, it's unpleasant.People Wickes Waterlooville there are very polite, but they have one dissatisfied princess with a nose ring, I'm afraid of her . I'm afraid of her and I don't feel comfortable Please maybe you can teach her to be nice, smiling and helpful to the client Please

Very friendly staff. You can get trader discount here which is useful. Nice and spacious. The staff are all too happy to help with queries and go out if their way to help you. Recommend

Needed an item that was only kept off the shop floor. Member of staff I approached, Ollie, was very helpful and got the item for me. Excellent service.

Had two jumbo bags of sharp sand delivered today,sand was top quality.the driver wrang to say he was 15 minutes away, turned up on time and put it where I asked, very polite guy a credit to your company.would use again.

So I don’t usually write on these but it’s the first time I’ve felt somebody has gone out their way to help me. I went into the store looking for materials for a job I was on and I must of been looking confused and a young girl with a nose ring and dark hair came up to me and asked if I needed help. I told her the parts I was looking for and she took me to everyone. A great staff member you have there.

Great store, most staff are friendly and helpful. Apart from a young dark haird lady behind the till. Very rude and arrogant. Acted like it was my fault the item in stock online, couldn't be found in store?? I offered to buy click and collect if would help find it? The response... I'll just cancel your order" Thanks to the older slim chap though polite and friendly..Updated .... The stock that couldn't be found at 18:30 appeared at 8:10 the next day? But the rude young lady

Generally plenty of parking, never normally too busy to shop, the occasional queue but only to be expected at times, normally kept clean and tidy.

Great store but young girl working there has a terrible attitude (the one with the sides of her head shaved).On one occasion I asked if she could help with a shower door and she said “no”. A bit shocked, I asked if they sell them and she said they did but wasn’t a specialist; before complaining that she’s on minimum wage (she did this on three occasions while I just wanted her to show me where the shower doors were).I went back there the other day and I asked the same girl where door hinges were and she told me the aisle; I said I had been there already and couldn’t find any of the type I wanted and she just said “they’re there” (perhaps you could show me?)I’ve since avoided her when I go, she obviously doesn’t care about the job; we all started on minimum wage, that doesn’t mean you have to be unprofessional.

Previously been impressed with this store and yet I turned up to collect a pallet of concrete blocks and was told to head round to the side gate for collection. I sat there for 30 minutes waiting, tried calling the phone number with no answer and no one came so I walked all the way back to the store only to find the blocks on a trolley waiting for me! There were 35 blocks nearing 3/4 tonne and I was expected to wheel the trolley out and hand ball them onto my vehicle!!! I was told its too dark to use the forklift and I should have got them delivered or come back tomorrow!!! Not the kind of service I would expect when collecting bulky items....after an hour of waiting and asking for help they finally lifted them onto my vehicle with a forklift. Please can someone explain this sort of customer service to me and how I'm expected to use Wickes again?

No I won’t donate money to the Brain Tumour Charity. Or any other charities. Life is hard enough as it is financially. People are fed up with it and the staff on the till!
