Morecambe Golf Club

Just signed my 5 year old up to their child golf lessons after attending an open day. The pros are great, the club members were fantastic! All made us feel very welcome, I'm considering joining myself they have some fantastic deals to join.

Dined there last night on party booking ( dinner dance). I must say, the best food I have ever experienced for mass catering. The tempura prawn starter melted in the mouth, the lamb roast was also so tender and tasty and the sticky toffee pudding was as good as the market leaders. Good price as well.

The course was in really great condition and we were made very welcome by the members and the staff the food was very good

Fabulous setting. Real ales served along with the usual beers , lagers etc. lovely outdoor seating area with fantastic views.

I go here with my mum, who was a full playing member for many years and is now a social member. She's 92 - and pops in several times a week for lunch or a snack. The food is very nice. What is even nicer is the kindness of staff there, who look after her. Nothing is too much trouble for them.

I was invited by a member for lunch, you can only attend with another member.Although, they do have many functions here and there are multiple rooms so a number of functions/ events can be going on at once.It was a very quiet Saturday afternoon,not many people were in but the staff were preparing for an event that was to start in the evening this did not prevent our enjoyment.We ordered our drinks and sat in a beautiful spot with great views of the course and sea!We looked at the menu and put our orders in at the bar. The staff were very friendly and helpful.The food was very good with lots of fresh salad. We ordered a jacket potato which was a very good size, with tuna and cheese and a beef and onion gravy panini both were packed with filling. Although I do think the option of a sandwich rather than a panini would have been a good option.It really is a superb setting for any event.Unfortunately I can't comment on the golfing, I'm not a golfer but there did seem to be plenty of people out on the courses.
