Been buying from this local butchers shop for years. Originally A&C Meats, then a new family takeover in April 2018.Has always been excellent quality meat and very professional, personal service. You do pay more than supermarkets but the meat quality is better and you get to choose from a much wider range of cuts.Since the takeover, the shop is brighter and the meat is better presented and better packaged.Last two acquisitions were haggis for Burns Night and lamb neck fillet for a gorgeous (if I say so myself!) Moroccan Lamb Tagine!

Had two absolutely fabulous fillet steaks from here last weekend- perfect with a blue cheese sauce. So succulent. The bacon's great too - no comparison to the thin, watered down supermarket stuff. Yes, you pay more but it's so worth it. Buy less, pay a bit more. Better for the animals, the environment, your health and the local economy.

Superb as usual, seems popular for a large catchment area, got there early for a Christmas joint as there is always a queue at that time.
