Matlock Bath Aquarium and arcade

Nice little aquarium. Not many fish but probablly why the price is cheap. Some interesting facts and pictures around. They have a room with hologram pictures that are very cool and some fun house type mirrors. There is also a small light sensory room which our toddler loved. The Only downsides is its Not pram accessable you have to leave it in the foyer. Luckilly i read this online so we didnt take ours. They also do not have toilets or baby changing facilities but there are ones accross the road you can use for 20p.

Absolutely fantastic, well worth the entrance fee, even 2 grumpy teenage boys enjoyed it, especially the illumination mirrors.

This was a very interesting, informative though different experience than I expected, definitely worth a visit. After paying a very modest entrance fee the range of fish was surprisingly very good with detailed descriptions about each. The aquarium is not very big and upon exiting you enter the hologram exhibit.

Nice little place to have a look around. Lots of fish to see and some very big ones. The mirrors were fun.

It's such a nice little tour around the aquarium in Matlock.Its not a long trip through but you'll be very surprised at what they have swimming about.On the first floor it's incredible the tanks and fish they have from around the world.The holligram section is so different to see and good fun aswell as the shaped mirrors. The finale is obviously the koi carp in the main tank which many years ago was used for the spa. There are information boards about the history of the spa and it's very intresting.Partly Inside and outside of the building the different colours of the carp are amazing.I think when you're in Matlock it's definitely worth a visit.

Amazing place to visit with the family of all ages. Very good prices at £5.80 per person. Friendly staff. Lots to see.

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit here. Been to Matlock Bath many times but never visited the baths& aquarium. It was interesting to learn of the history behind the baths and see the old pool put to good use with the lovely koi carp. Shame they didn't tell you at the start you need 50p coin to be able to feed them, so missed out on that, but still enjoyed our time there, well worth popping in

Amazing little aquarium. Under 4s go free. £5.80 for a ticket. The kids loved the light room. It is only small and we spent about half an hour here.

Really quirky little place, with all sorts to see incl fish, original bath (ie Matlock Bath), petrified objects, great collection of holograms, and light room. Would have given 5 stars but it has gone up by £2 pp entry in a year which is a bit steep in my opinion.
