Our guide was extremely knowledgeable. A thoroughly informative and enjoyable tour, albeit confronting to see the divide that still exists within the communities of west Belfast to this day. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

Such a brilliant tour. The price was pushing the budget for our trip, but decided to give it a go based on word of mouth. It was definitely well worth it! We had Joel as our tour guide, who was friendly, local, well informed and catered the tour to us very well. We went into the tour not knowing a lot about Belfast & Northern Ireland (from Australia) and came out with a whole knew perspective & knowledge of Irish history. Saw a good variety of buildings on the drive, stopping in places to stretch the legs & take pictures. Joel answered all of our questions, politely and with humour. Definitely recommend.

It was pouring rain so this was an amazing option to see the sights. Our guide was amazing (very disappointed i can’t remember his name). He was fair and balanced giving both sides of story.

My mum and I went on the Black Taxi tour today, we felt impressed with our guide, Jake. His presentation was well versed and he was ready to answer interrelated questions with clear knowledgeable interest, passion for what he does and healthy banter. I’ve done a black cab tour with a different group before, this one was much better.

The political tour was excellent. The driver has a personal knowledge of the troubles having lived through them. He provided insight into a complex time in Belfast / Irish history digging beyond the surface narrative generally given by each side. The nuances are fascinating.. I highly recommend this tour.

This tour puts so much into perspective, not only with what is happening in Ireland but the entire world. This tour will bring new perspective to world conflicts and hopefully encourage all to bring empathy to others of different backgrounds. Jake, our guide, was pure class. I can’t recommend this tour - and Jake - highly enough. It’s something our group will never forget.

Had a delightful tour with Henry. We went out and about Belfast, driving into many different sections . The stops we made were to get a good and close look at murals throughout the city - murals that were vivid and thought provoking as was Henry’s explanation of the city’s history. I thoroughly enjoyed this intimate look at a city with such a complicated history. Just wonderful!

This was a great tour. I was picked up early at my hotel , and dropped back off at my hotel. The tour guide was knowledgeable, and was able to explain everything at each stop. I was not aware of some of the history and was happy to learn it.

We did the political tour with Jimmy, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone. I knew very little about the conflict in Northern Ireland, so I was fascinated to learn about it. Especially because Jimmy has first hand experience having grown up there. I’ll also add that everyone in our group has a different level of interest in learning about history and/or politics, but everyone still loved the tour because Jimmy is so conversational and captivating.
