If your use to a larger hotel hub is not for you. Comfortable bed, nice shower. A/c was dirty ( reported but not cleaned after 2 days), very small bathroom making room very hot when we both showered, mold present due to again faulty ventilation. Staff were nice, breakfast (continental), did not have a very good variety for me. Coffee machine also broken leaving instant your only choice.Good position for lower access to the Royal Mile. With secure parking close by hence stars

Perfect location as very close to the station & Royal Mile. Very accommodating when we arrived at 8:30am thinking we would just leave our luggage there but as some rooms were ready we did not have to wait till 11am to check in. Room had a good view, comfy bed, compact with being able to pull a desk out if you needed it & storage under the bed.The lock didn't work for the bathroom, not keen on how the top half of the bathroom was glass so you could see into the bedroom. The lights also come on automatically when you enter the room which isn't great if one of you is already sleeping when the big light comes on. The controls for lights, heating etc are behind the bed & can be easily accidentally turned on, again not great when the lights turn on in the middle of the night.Only spoke to one member of staff but she was lovely.

This is an interesting minimalist approach to hotels, with efficiently designed rooms and a lot of tech used. We didn't talk to any of the staff at all during our stay - we checked in and created our own room keys, and checked out by dropping our keys in a box. The rooms were comfortable but as some other reviewers state can feel a bit humid with the lack of ventilation, although we were able to get the Aircon working. The little light panel with the room controls next to the bed would randomly turn on during the night which was a bit annoying. The smart TV offered films to watch but this didn't work. Otherwise happy with our one night stay, especially given the price and the excellent location.

Very rude and unhelpful woman on the welcome desk. Rooms are alright, but have badly places touch sensitive light switches which are easily activated while you sleep and a fan that just doesn't turn off.

Used the Hub Hotel for the first time on a visit to Edinburgh. Hotel was clean staff were friendly and accommodating. Rooms are on the small size but adequate. Food is limited but there is another Premier Inn Close by to use for Food if needed.

Standard Hub. We had a larger room and it was just marginally larger than a standard room. Service was good, bar area downstairs was nice. Location was great.There are some good restaurants and pubs within walking distance as well

Great location. Room was well set out and the bedding and towels were good quality. The grouting in the shower was mouldy and black, which other reviews have stated too. This is a shame and why I gave a 3 star room rating.The communal lounge and dining area is super and staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is brilliant value at £5 per person and there are takeaway cups available for hot beverages, which is a good idea. I noted that the food and drinks menu was very reasonably priced.We stayed in room.225 which was very quiet and peaceful being at the back of the hotel.I happily stay at the hotel again, when the grouting issues in the showers have been resolved.

Close walking distance to the Royal mile and the railway station. Rooms are well equipped and clean. Decent TV, shower and even a hairdryer. The room had AC and good lighting controls. Price was very reasonable given then central location.

The only thing standing in between a full 5* review was the lock on our bathroom was slightly too low so you couldn't lock the toilet. This wasn't an issue for us as we traveled as a couple but I did notice it.The staff are amazing, always helpful and happy! Even when we checked out they made sure our luggage was secure so we could enjoy our last few hours of the royal mile.Speaking of the Royal Mile this place is a prime location for accessing it, Hollyrood Palace and Prince's Street!! And with it being two right turns from the train station (less than a 10 min walk) it's perfect for those who want to be on the doorstep of the action.Overall we have left highly satisfied, I've already recommended it to friends and family's and we will be back when we next visit!Thank you very much!

Great location only a few minutes walk from the station. The staff are friendly and the rooms are adequate. No tea or coffee in the room but you can go downstairs which isn't ideal. Breakfast is good at fiver .. decent enough for the money. Cleanliness could be better .. rooms were a bit grubby and communal areas were too with rubbish in the stairwells every day we were there. All in all though I'd recommend it!
