From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food at Desi Karahi is simply amazing, leaving a lasting impression on my taste buds.One dish that stood out was the Mixed Grill. It arrived at the table sizzling, and the aroma alone was enough to make my mouth water. The combination of perfectly cooked meats, bursting with flavors and spices, was an absolute delight. I found myself thoroughly enjoying every bite and already looking forward to my next visit.Another highlight was the Lamb Karahi. This dish truly captured the essence of traditional flavors, taking me on a culinary journey I won't soon forget. The tenderness of the lamb, paired with the robust and rich karahi sauce, created a harmonious blend that was both authentic and wonderful.The service at Desi Karahi was top-notch. The waitstaff was not only professional but also incredibly friendly. They went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was exceptional. Despite being a party of 12, they effortlessly accommodated us, making us feel welcome and attended to throughout the evening.Even something as simple as a cup of tea was elevated to greatness at Desi Karahi. It was undoubtedly the best cup of tea I've had in a long time, perfectly brewed and served with care.In conclusion, I cannot recommend Desi Karahi highly enough. The food, from the sizzling Mixed Grill to the unforgettable Lamb Karahi, was exceptional. The service was fantastic, with attentive and friendly staff who made our dining experience truly memorable. I went with my family, the chicken Karahi on the menu was very tasty, I would recommdend this.service was good.

A frequent place and we travel over an hour to visit with family and friends. I have never been let down from the courtesy and friendly warm service from the waiters to the exquisite taste of the the food the mix grill is to die for, unique with flavoursome sauces and good marination. The Karahi and Balti are also lovely. Nadeem is always warm and welcoming and spends time and effort to make us feel welcome. A must try for anyone who loves Desi food!

Second time we have dined here, absolutely amazing. The waiter Mak aka Khanshab was amazing, ready to help and giving excellent customer service. All enjoyed the food throughly and the 1kg lamb was made to melt in your mouth, cooked right by the best! All the food was really good, they have maintained the service!Definitely recommend again! 5 stars!(First Review)First time I've eaten from this Desi Karahi. Staff are friendly and ready to help. From the starters to the mains were amazing. Nice chicken sheeh kebabs and the lamb karahi was really good. The naans are huge compared to other places I've visited! Superb definitely go again.

We ordered lamb karahi with tarka masoor daal with roti. Karshi was spiced well to taste but meat and bones proportion was 50/50, which was disappointing. Masor tarka daal taste was great. Roti was well cooked crunchie tandoori roti....Served with Salad and chutni combination tray. Karak Chai was too milky for us but had a great taste.

Have to say very nice place, good staff who knew their food, old school place and felt good in terms of atmosphere, food was lovely starters and the lamb Karahi, only downer was they do not accept card which in this day is poor

Been a regular customer for almost 10 years. Always a smashing karahi, fresh and full of flavour. The tarka daal is a very under rated dish that most people will make the mistake of skipping, but believe me, it’s a must try.

Have been coming to this restaurant for years.Food and service always on point.From the starters to the mains, everything is fresh and delicious. The spices are well balanced.The staff and especially the owner are very attentive. This is a busy restaurant but they take their time to ensure you are looked after.Always worth a visit.
