Malcolm was very friendly and professional throughout. He kept in regular contact via emails and phonecalls. He came out to the house to arrange the funeral face to face. He was also at the funeral chapel to greet me when I went to see my Uncle which was nice to see a familiar face. I felt like my uncle was very well looked after and the family have received support throughout.Colin conducted the service, he also came out to the house and was also very professional and friendly.

The staff here are amazing. So supportive and respectful. The arrangements were made with their guidance and I felt confident that we had chosen well, everything went off seamlessly as Dad went on his journey. We went in to see our Dad in the Chapel of Rest, he was in a lovely room and looked so peaceful. It was of great comfort. Highly recommended.

I only have praise for the way Alan Duckworth’s Funeral Directors on Chester Road in Sunderland organised my mother’s funeral. Margaret was fantastic and kept in contact throughout providing me with confirmation regarding the various different details of the service. Alan himself contacted me the day before to go through the arrangements to make sure everything ran smoothly, which it did. Alan and all of the staff at Alan Duckworth’s made sure my father, who is 90, was able to get in and out of the cars safely and took the time to talk to him, to make sure he was okay. I know I speak on behalf of the whole family to say that we could not fault the service we received.
