Mr Kempenna is a brilliant surgeon and a very caring, approachable man. He had to rebuild my hip after a surgeon elsewhere insisted there was nothing wrong with it and left me in agony for two years, until it was on the point of collapse. When I asked for second opinion, Mr Kempenna was brilliant from start to finish and I can never thank him enough for what he has done for me! He is brilliant!

Mr Kempanna replaced my hip in March of this year, it was a terrific result and has made a significant positive change to my lifestyle. He gave me the confidence both prior to the operation and has continued to do so during my recovery. He is a tremendous surgeon and also a very pleasant man. Mr Kempanna carried out my hip replacement in April of 2023 and in September of 2023 injected my knee with a steroid and for the first time in my 70s I'm pain free (74).His care and treatments were in my humble opinion excellent and I am so grateful.

After four years of hip pain suffered by my partner Janet (Smith). We were eventually referred to Mr Vijaya Kempanna.This was the best thing to ever happen for us. Mr Kempanna is, in our opinion, the most trustworthy and professional consultant we have seen. His caring attitude and expert advice is second to none. Janet's physical confidence has come back and her life in general is once again, back to normal. We were told time and again that Janet would need a hip replacement, this was a very big step for her and Mr Kempanna, having reviewing the x-rays advised her differently. After four and half years of deteriorating pain in my right hip, i decided it was time for action. I was referred to see Mr Vijaya Kempanna, that's when thing's started to improve for me. On Saturday 1st April i met Mr Kempanna , after three x rays and a discussion , it was decided the best course of action was a replacement hip. On Friday 14th July i entered Spire Hospital in Manchester , my experience from start to finish was very positive. My operation went well and i 've never looked back , ten weeks on i' m fully mobile and pain free , should have made the decision an awful lot earlier , many thanks.
