Mindfulness with Amber has been key in helping me recover from Breast Cancer. The monthly meetings are great for support and to help you continue your practice. I have thoroughly enjoyed my practice with Amber for nearly two years!

I did the Mindfulness for Cancer course funded by Wessex Cancer trust. Amber was the perfect mindfulness facilitator in my opinion because she truly understands the emotional and physical trauma of someone who's had a cancer diagnosis. I was made fully aware of the course content and commitment required and Amber helped me realise that I should do this course for me - for it's only when I nourish myself that I can better support others.Please don't be fooled into booking a one day 'Mastering Mindfulness' course run by other organisations. We did eight 2.5 hour sessions plus a one day silent retreat and I felt it gave us a great introduction to what mindfulness is about and how it can change my life for the better.Amber is gentle in her approach and very wise.I learned to be aware of how I'm physically affected by a pleasant or difficult experience. This way I have been able to pause during a distressing or potentially explosive outburst and decide how I want to proceed. It's been 2 months since I first started the course and I've yet to lose control of myself which is, as my teenage testosterone-filled sons will declare, just epic"! I've also learnt to be kinder to myself. I check in with myself during the day instead of being carried helplessly along the river of life.Learning to pay attention to the present moment experiences with an openness and curiosity and a willingness to be with whatever life throws at one is simply life changing. I am so grateful to Wessex Cancer Trust for giving me the opportunity to enrich my life."

Ambers thought provoking & encouraging teachings at Mindfulness Wiltshire have equipped me with a host skills for appreciating living life in the present, & dealing with the challenges life has thrown at me. I honestly do not think I could have got through the last two years with my sanity in tact if I had not had the ongoing support I take from my mindfulness practise, & continued learning from reading & Ambers teaching.I wholeheartedly recommend a course with Amber for anyone who finds that life is whizzing by too fast, or finds they are too busy" or "too stressed" to pause
