Sent pictures of George our fabulous friend adopted from Canterbury but born in or near Ballymena he is a wonderful dog and we love him dearly.We want to thank Dogs Trust for letting us adopt him to give him his forever home Mr and Mrs Shepherd

Constantly saying they need people to help adopt dogs but when you apply you constantly get turned down.Sad situation.

We had a reasonable experience with the adoption process. There was a delay with our landlord okaying the adoption and the rest of her siblings had been agreed. We though we lost the wee pup we had bonded with instantly when we visited. We were told there were other applications and they would now adopt the pup.Then the next day I was just curious about another group that had been on the site and there she was. Previously the image was her brother originally but now it was her, I knew it was her and started crying. I called the centre but no answer so I called the customer service team and got a LOVELY man who managed to get in touch with the centre. We finally got written approval and we knew we had our new family member.Relief doesn't cover it. She is now 7 months and snoozing in be basket in our living room with me. We adore her and would move mountains for her.We both totally understand the circumstances with the centre and the urge to not leaving her alone without her brothers and sisters.At the end of the day we have our wee girl and I'm over the moon. After the adoption the Dogs Trust team have been top notch, we've had regular touch base calls and advice from their behaviour specialists which helped us with her separation anxiety.We love our baby girl and would recommend adoption from Dogs Trust in a HEARTBEAT.Thank you to the CS team and support team for your kindness and understanding.If you're thinking of adopting...you're ready for the possible challenges that holds...then do it. They're waiting for loving homes.

Wonderful new building. Staff were great and knowledgeable. Got to spend time with a puppy the family was looking to adopt, in a big meet and great area. Great place

Such an amazing place. Staff amazing and welcoming. What these amazing people do for these dogs is just above and beyond. We got our pup there at the beginning of March and we talk about our time there all the time as a family. Adopt don't shop ❤️

So my father in law adopted his pup from here. They are amazing and do such good work. Checks on whether you're suitable pet owners. Puppy pack to get started and best of all a new family member. Hes beautiful and grown so much

I became Snowy's mummy on Tuesday 11 July. He is beautiful and a bundle of energy. I am so happy to have adopted him. I just want to thank everyone at Dogs trust Ballymena. The staff who helped me were fantastic and I will never forget that. All the prep work they do to get the dogs homed is amazing. Thank you.
