I was fortunate enough to get my hair permed by Susan. This was my first time in a female hairdressers but I was made to feel comfortable throughout.Susan is amazing. She explained the process to me and made suggestions based on her experience. I was shocked with the results. It couldn't have come out any better. Broomhill is the hairdressers i will always use in Glasgow. The exceptional customer service, attention to detail, and end result have left me feeling really confident. The whole experience was a pleasure and I cannot recommend Broomhill and Susan enough.Any men searching online for the best place to get a male perm, look no further. Broomhill is the spot!

Honestly wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair! They always go above and beyond in the salon and I am always so happy with my cut and colour. Highly recommend!

Thanks for fitting me in at short notice on Friday. I’m really pleased with my root retouch and will be back to get my balayage topped up in a few weeks. I was someone who didn’t enjoy the experience of going to the hairdressers. This hair salon has changed that. The first time I went I had been given a voucher for Keratin treatment and have since been a further 3 times including highlights and cut/blow dry. The salon is the other side of the city to me but it is well worth travelling to. I have always felt awkward and certainly not relaxed at my previous hairdressers and this salon experience is completely different. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and for the last few visits Sinead has been my stylist. She is brilliant at her job, very helpful and easygoing. The salon has been extended recently and the refurbished shop is clean, fresh and tastefully decorated. I could never have imagined myself enjoying having my hair done but that is exactly what this salon does. Highly recommend this salon.

Hair looks great after my bayalage with Sinead yesterday! I always appreciate when a hairdresser offers suggestions about what would look best for you and I’m glad I went with what she encouraged. Such a lovely, welcoming vibe at the salon and I can see why they have so many regulars. Everyone was so friendly. Definitely making this my go-to salon in Glasgow.

Overall, they did a very good job for me for just 25 pounds.Pros:I was able to get an appointment for several days out using their online scheduler - pretty simple to use. I also liked that I could arrange to pay after the service was rendered rather than paying up front online and hoping everything went well later.The salon is easy to find, and is well appointed and comfortable.Sinead did my cut, and was very efficient. She meticulously determined what I wanted, how long it had been since my last cut, etc. She is also a great conversationalist - I usually don't talk with the stylist much, but talking with her was very natural. She also gave a great cut as efficiently as humanly possible. No time was wasted.I had my hair washed after the cut, and the young woman (I didn't catch her name) who did it was lovely, and very professional.I was in a bit early and out within 30 minutes.Cons (admittedly, this is tiny stuff):Their credit card machine was down so I was given the option to pay in cash or to pay later (!) This was a minor issue that will probably be fixed right away, and they handled it extremely well.A great cut and a great experience. I would definitely recommend Sinead.

First time for a haircut here, very satisfied with the result. My hair is on the thicker side and pretty hard to get right and I’ve been to a lot of hair salons who doesn’t do half a decent job and more expensive. I got exactly as I asked for here, professional service and reasonably priced. Staff are friendly and welcoming

I honestly don't know how this place has got such good reviews. I asked for a nice natural light coppery colour (showed picture) but ended up with fake looking orangey red hair (that was patchy may I add) when I said I was unhappy with the colour as it wasn't what I asked for, I was met with the girl that did it telling me that the shade on my head was the same that was on the picture (it was a completely different shade from the picture, one was natural ginger/copper, the one on my head was fake red/ orangey) and that the reason for the difference was that there was a ring light highlighting the one in the picture making it look lighter and you can't really use pictures in salons for colour and expect a realistic result.... After advising that I wasn't happy leaving with that result, they put a brown toner over it which made the colour a very dark red, completely different from what I asked for and made me look very very pale - just didn't look good at all. They would have let me leave the salon looking like that if I didn't insist it wasn't right during a very awkward conversation. I will not going back, but to be fair to them they didn't charge me for the experience. They did offer to try and fix it but at this point I'd lost the trust that they would be able to do this.
