Horrible place , I felt like I was treated like a criminal on my first appointment, I’d just taken voluntary redundancy after twenty six years , that didn’t matter to the robot staff , I honestly believe to work there you have to lack any form of empathy. Work coaches more like kgb agents , and when you first enter the building you have two security guards eying you up which is so intimidating.I’m glad financially I’m ok and got rid of my claim , but I feel sorry for people who after rely on benefits and have to enter that draconian place.

I would like to thank the security guys for their care and efficiency. My wife has mobility problems and they fell over backwards to make sure she arrived were the appointment was safely. The young lady who dealt with my wife's claim brought her laptop closer to shorten the distance she had to walk. A big THANK YOU for looking after us.

Not happy at all. A sanction was made on my payment because of me missing one phone call. I made this known and have attended appointments since but nothing was done. I was refused a hardship payment and was told to “ask close relatives” for money. Because of this I have not been able to afford my monthly bills. AVOID.

This is not a review of the staff that I have been in contact with but more about an incident I witnessed this morning in which a lady was semi stripped searched on the public road by officers which was humiliation at its worst.Granted that I was not in presence of incident that took place in the job centre but two male officers initially was present and then a female officer joined who did the search with some staff rubbernecking. I have made a formal complaint to the police regarding their officers conduct.

The customer care need to relise there not seacret agents or hard knocks one thretend to bang my partner when he was having a manic episoad due to his mental health. Also when i go in for a appointment im surrounded by them all asking were im going what time is my appointment ect and make you wait outside if your a little early how stupid is that after youve battled with them and your allowed to enter you then have a skinny woman with a beak of a nose slagging everyone off who walks in and clicks at you like your a dog when you decide to blank her once your past all that you then try and sit were your adivsor is so you can be seen you theb have the wanna be security raidoing about you and your every movement cant even scratch your nose in that place and they wonder why people have mental health issues

Security guard tried being aggressive and staring me down. Instructed JobCentre staff to not allow me to sign-on. Complained to DSS...nothing happened.

Dont expect much help from these.Contact your local MP, tell them about your problems. The JC workers seem to actually listen once the MP has given them a scolding

Staff were very helpful, but there is no one there trained to deal with my illness should I have a seizure, I think the government need to look closely at the way they Train there staff basic first aid will not do when your dealing on a daily basis with people who have serious illness, when I spoke to my advisor i said theres a good chance I'm about to have a seizure" she panicked and ask what she should do
