Had a child's birthday party here and everyone seemed to have enjoyed themselves. The staff were nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place.

First time trying this place out and i have to say we all loved it. The kids were entertained and spent a whole 2 hours painting without a complaint. The staff are so helpful and really attentive to what we wanted or needed. We picked a very quiet time but it was ideal. Would definitely visit again :)

I really love this place, such a fun activity for all ages. Staff are friendly and helpful and the owners seem to really care about their business. They do events, workshops and parties in addition to the regular bookings. For a regular booking, you pay £4 for a 2 hour slot (plus your glaze, firing, etc) and then you pick blank ceramics which you pay for separately (there's a really large range to choose from with a price range of £4-£40). You can paint about one large item or two small items as an adult in a 2 hour session. Then you have to wait up to a week to go and collect your fired ceramics. If you're a novice, the staff can talk you through how it works and make suggestions too; they're all very knowledgeable on the process. There's brushes and stamps available, although I'd be tempted to take my own brushes to facilitate finer details next time I went. The reason I've given 4 stars not 5 are firstly, how busy it is! It's hard to get a booking on a weekend unless you arrange in advance. Secondly, I wish there were more of the longer painting evening sessions (or other longer events aimed at adults) as I have so much fun 2 hours isn't enough.

Okay so last minute, I had to plan out a day/ activity with my friend. Despite their website not having any way of booking a session- except through their phone number, they also had an email box which I attempted to use. I emailed them asking if they had any spaces for today. Surprisingly, the responded within minutes! Although they were fully booked, they managed to fit me and my friend in for a two hour session (which is what all session are- 2 hours)The place was so easy to locate because it’s right outside the bus stops and very close to the station.Once we got in, the staff were friendly and nice. The lady with the black shirt hair sat us down and ran us through the whole process (explaining the costs etc) as my friend was actually a novice, she was open to any questions and did not mind hassles at all. She was both quick and knew what she was saying. Both me and my friend asked to sharpen our pencils twice; reading the reviews people claimed this lady was unkind and unfriendly but she is rather the complete opposite. There was also another lady with blonde hair who was very caring as well, I asked her if she had any other brushes and she lent me a fine brush available, she was honestly so sweet- even at the checkout when I was paying. When I was reading about all these reviews- Tim being racist, angry and rude. As an ethic minority (Chinese) alongside my friend (Pakistani), I did not experience any racism or offence through my 2 hours of stay. The staff would regularly come check up on you and from what I saw, Tim was rather friendly and had a bubbly personality- he was talking to another East Asian family across the table. Many of the people who were at Creative Biscuit were actually from areas of South Asia and during my stay I saw a few black people- no one was treated differently. As of the seating, the seating at the back has a large table and the area was quite hot and a bit dark but it wasn’t bad as you can still see and paint etc. Later, a bigger group of people came in and we moved to the front of the counter/ checkout point. Personally, I believe that seat was quite uncomfortable as it was hard to get in and out of my chair (I sat by the wall where all their displays (magazines?) and items selling were.Additionally, the setup of the paints showed what colours looked like when they came out but I would often get these coloured mixed up because they looked quite similar on the outside. If I were to change this I would add labels onto the paints. The paint was rather easy to pick up and apply (it had a nice consistency) and the bottle with kept the paint in was clean in every aspect. However, some of the paints weren’t very full so some of the paint was a struggle to get out. I would recommend being careful with taking the paint out as quite lot comes out at once (my friend tried to get some of the blue and a whole blob squirted out)…Other than that, the atmosphere was so peaceful and beautiful and staff were respectful. The place is so cozy and aesthetic.Despite slight cons of the seating and lighting in one or two areas, I believed this place is extremely underrated and deserves so much more attention. I have no idea how people have gotten an unpleasant stay at this place and where all this hate came from- perhaps people need to give it a second chance again because this place is honestly so good. It is so worth money and actually very affordable if you are on a budget. I would 100% recommend this place and I will most likely be returning.

Great place to try ceramic painting, it's very easy to pick up with the staff support, warmth and encouragement.Only a small fee per person then you pay depending on the piece you picked. Also lovely coffee and cake!Only downside is that there were little kids birthday parties going on all afternoon which made the place quite noisy. But they were having so much fun, can't really complain!

Really fun experience! There’s a huge variety of items to choose from to paint, and the colours provided are so lovely. I went with four friends and we all loved the session. Will definitely be back very soon.

Very accommodating, children loved the food and cake. Quick service for any additional orders. Overall a great experience and would love to come back as a group of grown ups x

Initially I made my booking via phone call. It was a brief conversation and I was booked within minutes. The following day I realised I couldn’t make it so when I contacted Creative Biscuit via email, they were very efficient and had me rearranged straight away. They also made me aware I had been seated at the rear table. We walked into the store during a child’s birthday party and was welcomed with smiles from everyone. After approaching the desk, there was a little miscommunication regarding my booking but that was quickly sorted and we were taken to the rear table. Then we had the opportunity to choose what we’d like to paint. They had a good variety of ceramics to paint. It took us forever to pick one! Once seated, we were given a briefing on how to use the paints and what to do. We had 2 hours to complete our painting and were left to enjoy our experience. When we needed any tools we were attended to straight away. Once we were done, they took down our details, pottery and payment. The pottery will be collected in a few days time after it goes into the kiln. It was very relaxing, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our day. We can’t wait to see our master pieces!
