Strawberry Wedding Films

Our experience with Strawberry Wedding Films was wonderful. Despite arranging much of the pre-event from Canada, their communication via email and Skype gave us plenty of confidence that they would deliver what we wanted.On the day, we had two videographers who were able to capture both bride and groom preparations, right the way through to the first few dances. They captured everything including guests, the full ceremony, special moments, speeches and dancing with minimal intrusion. You would hardly have noticed they were there, very professional.And the end result? A beautifully crafted highlights video and a comprehensive movie of the day (including all speeches and the ceremony in full). The editing experience gave us an opportunity to feedback and make adjustments, select key music and help craft a very personal and polish finished product.As a couple who were initially a bit skeptical about the need for a wedding video in the first place, our experience with James and his team and the content they delivered has made us true converts.Thank you so much for capturing these precious memories.Euan and Alison - Crear, May 2019

We had our wedding filmed in April but never received the footage until September. We felt very disappointed with the lack of communication from Strawberry prior and post wedding which did cause us some concern. Thankful the footage of our special day was spectacular.

Booked this company over a year and a half before the wedding date, paid over the deposit as it was money we had at the time and not heard since, now been over 8 months, with the wedding date moving closer we've had to book another company, costing us more money. Extremely disappointing, genuinely feels like we've been scammed. We will be chasing to get our money back.

I didn't want to write a review until we'd received our final product, but for the sake of other couples who are looking for videographers, I feel obligated to write this. Do not go with this company. It's been close to a year since my wedding was held, and we still do not have the videos that were promised to us. After threatening legal action, we finally got our two videos, but they were clearly thrown together quickly with the second one being largely unedited. We have requested changes and have been told numerous times that they'll be done in a few weeks. It's now been months and months and still no indication of when our films will be edited. The lack of communication and professionalism are appalling. I wish we could get our money back and go with a different company.

What can we say about the team at Strawberry Wedding Films! We had two videographers from bride and groom preparations to the first 3 dances and they did a fantastic job! 4 weeks after the wedding we received a draft preview of our highlight and full wedding videos. It was great to be able to watch the whole day back and see things that we missed on the day! If we had any comments about the video, the staff were quick to help (Tip: if you can provide them with time stamps from the video, it will help them a lot) In the end we got our online copies as well as 4 DVDs, 4 USBs and one special USB for us in a beautiful box.Thank you so much for everything.Kind regardsMr & Mrs Murray (Norton House Hotel on 12th May, 2018)

We had our wedding on the 25th may 2019 and I'm extremely disappointed to say still haven't received our wedding film. The lack of communication prior to our wedding was shocking;I had to phone twice to speak to James the week before my wedding as I heard nothing since paying in full and was panicking. Since May we have had no communication from them despite my husband emailing and phoning. It is now November and we had heard nothing. I'm so disappointed in the service and professionalism. We pushed our budget in order to book strawberry wedding films thinking the service would be worth it....I regret it.

My wife and I got married in July 2021 and regrettably hired James to film our wedding. He was an hour late, missing vital shots of family and wedding party arriving at the venue. My wife arrived only a few minutes after he did causing some stress to myself and the wedding organisers of the venue. He was poorly prepared and filmed the whole ceremony with a handheld camera.We didn’t receive our final video until almost a year after. This could have been longer if it wasn’t for constant emails and phone calls which mostly were ignored with many excuses. For the biggest event of our lives we expected more from a company which we paid a large sum of money.We were still not satisfied with the ‘final’ video he sent over which had several shots with the wrong audio (people speaking out of sync). The shots were very shaky because of the use of handheld camera during ceremony.To this day we still haven’t received our USBs/ DVDs which were in the contract.I would avoid using this company completely and find it astonishing he can still operate with such poor service.I was also asked quite rudely to stop messaging on his phone and only email, even though he originally contacted me on that number. Avoid.

My wife and I got married in September 2019 and our wedding package wasn't fully complete until late August 2020.The customer service was fine until after the wedding day. From then on it was a constant struggle with James, continously breaking promises and failing to reach deadlines. This has been the case for so many couples who have booked with him.Although we were happy with the photos and videos, it took nearly 12 months for Strawberry Wedding Films to complete our package, when in the contract it states that this will take approximately 16 weeks from the wedding day. In addition, the contents of the wedding package we paid for (documentation sent to us from Strawberry Wedding Films shows this) stated that we would have 2 photographers and 2 videographers. However, on the day there were 2 photographers but just 1 videographer.In summary, James is obviously a very good photographer/videographer but a terrible businessman who is completely unprofessional, especially in the way he talks to customers (when you actually get a response from him). My advice to any couples out there is to not book with this company, it was the biggest mistake we ever made, and I'm so glad that I never have to deal with James again.

Can’t believe this guys sleeps at night. Didn’t turn up with the team he said he would and didn’t deliver a video or acceptable photo.Thousands he took of us and I feel robbed. Ruined our day. 10 months no communication and no products, James it wasn’t covid that was the problem it was you!

We had our wedding filmed by these guys last September at Seamill Hydro. The two videographers that came on the day were professional at all times and patient throughout the day. They put us at ease and we forgot we were being filmed most of the day. The final product we received was well presented in a box with 4 DVD’s and a USB. It is wonderful to be able to look back on our wedding film, wedding highlights and video guestbook whenever we like and share our day with those that couldn’t make it. Every time we watch it, we see something else we didn’t notice on the day! Fantastic memories to cherish forever.
