A wonderful library with great staff (mostly), very clean and great refreshment facilities, but my review is rated 3 stars for one reason, the NOISE.I go here to do revision on my dissertation and exams, and good god, it is the noisiest library in christendom. Children are allowed to run around the adult areas making ridicuous levels of volume for no other purpose than fun.There are a few special needs children who frequent and as a place for everyone which is totally inclusive, thats great! But children who should know better, and parents who should act really do ruin my studies here. I once had to use noise cancelling earbuds with noise cancelling headphones over top of them, just to drown out a screaming child and a woman having a very loud conversation.Aside from that this is a wonderful library with great facilities, especially for children who have much of the library dedicated to their learning, it also has a wonderful community, with clubs and workshops regularly.I reccomend everyone come here, just perhaps bring some ear defenders and a few paracetamol.

Good location, close to Town center, Paid car parking outside front door. Toilets only open till 5pm due to anti social behaviour.. Toilet door key kept at reception. Free water dispenser, paid coffee machine. Pleasant staff.. everything back to normal now. Only day closed is Sunday.

Such a lovely library with lots of books. Love they do lego days and other events and have a kid corner and then sections for studying. Computers and quiet areas. Nice friendly staff too :)

The library is warm and modern, with huge selection of books and music and CD books. A childrens area, a coffee area with vending machine. Self check out book service. Toilets. Friendly staff and several pc stations.

Awesome library with almost all kinds of books. Sone categories are health, Roma, large print, society, free time, animals, fun facts, stories, picture fiction, beginner, Christmas, sci-fi fantasy, horror, food and drink, graphic novel, sagas, manga, audiobook, biography, poetry, nature, travel, family, computer, business and many more.A must visit for readers.

A great reference facility for Newark and surrounding area. Have plenty of community events on and regular activities for young children and toddlers.

Lovely building. Lots of varied books. Very helpful friendly staff.

An architect designed modernistbuilding, full of light, surrounded by gardens, plus helpful staff , daily newspapers and a coffee machine - our library is a great place to read, study and meet people.
