We had our first visit to The Clwyd Gate last night ,with a bit of trepidation,as we had been a couple of times when it was under different owners ,but will certainly be going back ,what a beautiful meal all four of our party throughly enjoyed our meal & it was their first steak night (Thursday ) & i cannot eat steak ,health problem i had a rissotto ,i had asked for no cheese ,but forgot to say no diary either ,(my fault ) it came with cream but oh how beautiful it was ,the steaks ,& the chips looked fabulous & my husband & friends said how nice it was ,my husband&i had apple tart with sauce anglaise & one friend had chocolate Brulee ,the staff were very very good &you could not get better service will definitely be going back 5 out of 5 ,folks please try it you will not be dissappointed i can assure you

The first time I had been in the Clwyd Gate for many years and was very impressed with the staff who very attentive to the party needs at all times and the buffet that was layout was excellent I would recommend to anyone to go and have a great time.Good luck to the new management for the future.
