Village Hotel Cheadle
Not so good.Rooms dark and small.TV is set up for screen sharing but it doesn't allow it.Sky channels displayed but don't work. I assume you have to payRooms surface cleaned, but go a bit deeper and the dust and grime is there.The rooms are very warm which is great in winter but summer no. They do have Dyson fans which I assume are expensive. But the dust build up in them makes them to noisy to use when you try to sleep.There is no restaurant now so all food in the bar which was full and noisy.GoodThere were lovely person at the check in who helped me with setting up and parking registration and at breakfast to seat meClean kettle and Tea, coffee milk etcIron, ironing board, hair dryer in the roomBreakfast, sausages, bacon and other food was nice. I felt good qualityI can't help but feel Village hotels are changing to help survive the increasing costs of living but are reducing their customers expectations.

Village Hotel Cheadle
Receptionist Ella was amazing as when we arrived our room was not quite ready and she looked after us very well. Also the Manager in charge of the restaurant (sorry can't remember her name but she has a little boy) all though they were extremely busy on our first evening she looked after us and nothing was too much trouble, and again on the second night. The food was excellent and our complaints to the chef's for all our food.The staff looking after our room where very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Bar staff were super never forgetting what our round wasA very well done to all the staff we had a really great weekend

Village Hotel Cheadle
Visited Village Hotels Cheadle for a disco tribute night. Price of room was expensive for what it was. Room view was poor, facing an air conditioning unit. Toilet did not flush correctly. Right overhead the flight path of Manchester airport. The breakfast was good though and provided more than enough choice.

Village Hotel Cheadle
I used to love Village hotels , but things seem to have gone backwards.A club room, felt cold, and tired. With lots of touch ups needed. The door to the bathroom slammed shut and seems more like a garage door. The shower had no rubber strip at the bottom so flooded the floor. For a club room was very disappointed for the price - with no viewLocation is good if comping from the south or for the airportThe food in the grill (I had a burger) was pretty poor and tasteless - and expensive for what it was.Positive were staff on reception were friendly , and the bed was very nice and comfortable - and I actually slept really well.

One night stop over before early flight. Lovely lady on reception. Clean, sizeable rooms with great big comfortable bed. Had dinner in restaurant which was very good. Sat outside after watching planes fly overhead. Couldn't hear them in room! Early checkout so didn't have breakfast.

Felt more like a motorway service station than a hotel. Disabled access was poor and disabled parking very limited. Bed was too low either for those with restricted mobility or for those needing to side transfer from wheelchair. Shower seat ludicrously small and positioned far too low. Not enough staff on hand to provide help. Booking system not straightforward for accessible rooms.

Village Hotel Cheadle
I attended my daughter in laws 40th birthday party here it was held in a separate room that was ideal ,60 guests attended and there was plenty of room ,the layout was superb with its own bar and a wonderful layout for the great food which was hot and replenished frequently .Everyone commented how good it all was .As for the staff they where all polite ,friendly ,well mannered and so helpful.Special mention for Josh who ran the event ,nothing was too much trouble for him .He really went well above and beyond what you would expect of hotel staff.

Village Hotel Cheadle
Lovely hotel, nice comfortable room, was worried about the planes being so low but didn't even hear them in our room. Staff were so helpful and caring. Being disabled they went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and happy. A great stay and food is amazing too.

Village Hotel Cheadle
I use the conference facilities here at least twice a month and the team who look after me here are fantastic. Especially josh who always makes sure I have everything I need and is happy to help me if I have any issues, he is professional and friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble.The girls who work in starbucks are also amazing they remember my order and will recommend different food or drinks for me to try.Rooms are a tad dark but well maintained and I especially like the club rooms
