JULY 2021For two years I lived without a fence around my property and it was difficult to tell where the farmland on three sides ended and my garden began.Lee of Beaver Fencing didn’t provide the cheapest quote, and although primarily that’s what I had in mind, Lee sold me by his manners, cleanliness and courtesy. Everyone else quoting before him had visited on their way home after a day’s work wearing slovenly and dirty attire. Who would go for an interview like that?That was the first good thing in Lee’s favour. He was clean and well turned out.Secondly was his expertise. He measured up asked me what fencing I wanted, told me what was available and then he explained how he would supply and fit the fence and the gates. It sounded good. He never said as others had, ‘oh we’ll bung a bit of wood in there’ when speaking of difficult corners.Thirdly his knowledge. He knew what he was talking about and I easily followed along as he explained things to me. I was immediately impressed by his logic.He emailed a quote, and yes, it was a few thousand more than the previous quote, but I felt I’d be getting a better deal long term, and better workmanship too.Even with all the good points in his favour, I was still absolutely amazed at how hard Lee worked those 4 days in my garden.It was during that scorching hot spell we had in July 2021. Lee had a valid family reason for getting the job done quickly that week, but even so, he worked expertly single handed in blazing sunlight with no shade for a maximum of twelve hours every day. He didn’t have a radio blaring, he didn’t stop for cigarettes, didn’t engage in lots of idle chit chat, he just worked and worked jolly hard in all that heat. By the end of that first day his neck and shoulders were as red as a lobster but he had not noticed.I offered him drinks but he said he’d brought his own. He stopped for lunch and a short rest midday. He never asked to come inside the house for any reason.Day after day I marvelled at how good he was at his job. Truly, he is a craftsman, a rare find these days. I quickly trusted him totally to get on with it and I rarely watched him working. He was doing a good job and quickly too. Digging all post holes by hand. He did the entire job by himself.I never realised till last Sunday August 8th how my neighbours were also marvelling at his workmanship. I had gone to a BBQ and there had been an in-depth discussion about Wendy’s beautiful fence and the man that built it. People were saying, ‘we couldn’t believe how hard he worked in all that hot sunshine too and how quickly he finished the whole job.’ Some 400 feet of fencing.It is a beautiful fence, and Lee fitted the gates expertly, making certain they are easy to lock and open, and even installed a pedestrian gate so that the drive gates can remain locked most of the time as I rarely go out.I wanted to make this review a good length, telling others how Lee works, because you know how it is, one reads reviews then wonders how legit they are. Well, on my life, this one is absolutely true. I tell everyone what a good craftsman he is. And apparently, word has already spread as neighbours jotted down his phone number from off his van to tell their friends and relatives who may be needing a fence.Lee is a lovely young man, easy to get along with, friendly and polite that will go that little bit extra to make gates easy to open and close them. He uses good quality latches and bolts.So, if you need a beautiful fence, erected by someone who is certainly a contentious craftsman, and a polite, well mannered Christian man that you can totally trust, then employ Lee of Beaver Fencing and you will be forever grateful that you did.Thank you for reading,Sincerely,Wendy Tunnard D’Veryard.

Lee made a fantastic job of installing our panals into new concrete posts and gravel boards.He also built a gate and picket fence to keep our yorkshire terrier in the garden.His work was to the highest standard and I would be happy to show his work to any new customers.

It’s rare to get a tradesperson who delivers 100% what you want but I absolutely cannot fault Beaver Fencing. Good quote, quality materials, thoughtful collaborative approach, on time and a really friendly service. The new fence is exactly what we wanted. Cannot recommend enough.

Lee is very professional, came back to us quickly with a reasonably priced quote and worked with us to determine what fencing would suit our needs best. He completed the work (to remove and replace picket fencing at the front of our property) to an extremely high standard in quick time. Lee, came and quoted, discussed what I wanted. Quick quote turn around and when agreed he did everything he said and all we asked. Turned up when he said, got stuck in removing our old fencing and then installed our new fencing. Great job, we are so pleased with the results, looks great, finished well and he tidied up after himself. Would highly recommend Beaver Fencing to anyone with fencing needs. Couldn’t have asked for more.

Had Lee around today to replace my old fencing. He arrived when promised and I've got to say, he's a real grafter. I don't think I saw him take a break all day. The new fencing installation is fantastic and the old fencing was removed before he cleaned up the site. To say we're really please is an understatement. I can't recommend Lee and Beaver Fencing enough.

Took 2 days. 10 hour days. Fantastic service. Very methodical. Attention to detail second to none. Very impressed. I would have no hesitation in recommending Lee. 5 star service. Loads of people stopped to admire the fencing and has been asked to quote. Greatly deserved.

Lee responded swiftly to my enquiry, came round the next day to review the work and provided a written quote the next day as promised. After agreeing the quote he arrived 2 days later to undertake the work for replacement gates which took the whole day. His work was professional and of a high quality. I would recommend his service to anyone considering fencing or garden gates.
