Well, as a first time buyer, I have been well informed of all my decisions ahead of time and also all of the staff have been more than helpful. May I say that Tom Bolton at the Corstorphine branch has so much knowledge and experience that it would be very hard for anyone not succeed with his help. Such a fantastic team, also Jessica has timely replied when Tom was away so this shows they work well as a team and you are not left waiting. For us we have waited 1 week for the mortgage approval (after I have sent all the documents) and it came back with a positive answer. If it wasn't for Tom's experience, I think it would have taken us longer, but most importantly, they found us the mortgage that is suitable for our needs and affordable (which may not coincide with that we were thinking) so we are so grateful to him and the team at First Mortgage. We also think that the fact that Tom knew what mortgage lender met our criteria was again top because it increased our chances of getting the mortgage. And funnily enough, the service is free, the bank pays them. So you don't have to worry about the bill at the end. Thank you so much First Mortgage Team, especially to Tom and Jessica. I went to First Mortgage in Corstorphine as I was desperately looking to remortgage and get myself onto a better and more manageable deal.
