James has been great keeping in contact from our initial enquiry and quote through to checking we were happy with the finished results. The fitters were excellent, very professional, knew their stuff and tidied up after themselves. The doors fitted are a huge improvement for the house - a lot more secure and energy efficient.I'd highly recommend Mid Wales Windows & Conservatories to friends and family. First impressions mean everything and of the three companies we had quotes from, James gave the best first impression of them all and that stuck with me! Quality means everything - the people, service and products provided by Mid Wales are spot on.

Mid Wales fitted our UPVC windows back and now front too, with 4 big bay front windows fitted in a very sympathetic way in the conservation area, in order to follow our wishes to preserve the house's black and white appearance. We are very pleased with both the process and the results with thanks to the whole team at Mid Wales who worked professionally to make sure that our contract was completed excellently and on time. The windows are already reducing noise from the road and providing good thermal insulation so that our living room is noticeably warmer. We have an older house and wanted to retain the look and feel of the house, whilst replacing four, large bay windows with sash openings, on the front of the building.We were very pleased with the care and time taken by the surveyor in measuring up the task and ensuring he listened to what we wanted.The windows had to be ordered from a different window company with expertise in older style windows, so the lead time was a little longer than for a more straightforward job, but that was understandable.Richard, John and the team arrived on the day they said they would. They were friendly, helpful and courteous. They tidied up at the end of each day.It was a very big job , but by the end of day 4, the old windows were out and the new ones in place. We were never left feeling insecure. However, there was a lot more still to do.Part of the job was replacing the flat roofs on top of the bays, and when Richard and John removed the old roofs, they ended up having to rebuild one roof altogether, because of rot. They did not complain, but just got on with the job with a cheerful smile.After 13 days on the job, the work was completed. We have tested every window and the quality of the materials and the fitting is excellent. We already feel warmer in the house and notice the reduction in traffic noise.I would thoroughly recommend Mid Wales Windows and Conservatories. This is the second job they have done for us, as they replaced windows at the back of the house a few years ago. The staff are helpful and show attention to detail and a commitment to high quality work. We are really pleased we chose them.

This company provides an excellent, reliable, service, and their customer care is exceptional. They have installed several new windows and a front door for us in Machynlleth over the past few years, all of which have been perfect, and have stood the test of time. On 12th September, Dean, Jack and George put in a new bay window. A survey had been done in July. The job took one and a half days to complete, they arrived on time, knew exactly what they were doing and did a fantastic professional job. We're delighted with it, and very grateful to the lads!Additionally, I would like to thank James, in the office, not only for his great help in organising the window installation, but also for the help and trouble he took to obtain and arrange the fitting of new locks for our back and front doors. This was an unexpected complication that had to be done within a fairly tight deadline, and James made it happen , to our great relief!Thank you so much, and we will be in touch again very soon.

We used Mid Wales Windows to glaze our carport. The quote process was very fast, professional and reasonably priced. A surveyor was involved in this process from the start to assist with the structure and design (as it is a 'non-standard' shape). The two fitters who came out were excellent, and the finish is to a high standard. The result is stunning, turning an under-used carport into a really lovely outside space. I would highly recommend both the company and the fitters (sorry, I can't remember your names, but you did a great job) to anyone, and we have already asked Mid Wales Windows for a quote for another project based on their work.
