Have been with People of Note for 4 or 5 years. A definite highlight of my week. Great group of people, great songs from all musical traditions.Nickomo and Rasullah are inspiring and talented conductors.Fun, uplifting and therapeutic.

Singing for everyone. It's such fun joining with others to learn new songs, all taught by ear, a phrase at a time. Being part of how leaders Nickomo and Rasullah put a piece together is delightful. There's always laughter as our doubts and uncertainties are laid to rest and a full joyful sound emerges. You know you're in safe hands with lovely warm teachers, interesting arrangements, and a good range of social and singing opportunities through the choir's self run 'People of Note International Touring Association', Ponita (which are nearly all in Bristol). Try it!

I joined this choir 5 years ago and was immediately made very welcome. We sing songs from all musical genre and the standard is pleasingly high. It's a community choir and you do not need to have an audition to join. The leaders Nickomo and Rasullah are very good teachers and make learning the songs fun and very enjoyable.

It's a wonderful community choir, I love those Tuesday evenings! Both and Rasullah are very talented choir leaders, they teach us beautiful songs in all genres. We always have a great sing and definitely a good laugh too. It is a choir with a wonderful community spirit and I love it that anyone is invited to join. I've made quite a few good friends in this choir and would not want to miss it!

A wonderful choir, very friendly and lots of fun. Definitely the best thing I do all week. Nickomo and Rasullah are very talented and patient leaders. Great for the soul!

I joined this wonderful choir 5 years ago, we have wonderful teachers, sing fantastic songs and have a very good time together. It is a real bonus,to have the choice of either going to Southville on a Tuesday or Clifton on a Wednesday.We all sing together in Southville at the end of each term and make a fine sound. Don’t be shy, come and give us a try!

Great fun, wide range of music. I particularly enjoyed the 'listen and sing back' way of learning new songs and harmonies. Useful to have a choice between the two venues.
