Really great experience. Got ebike delivered from 3rd party company. It came bashed up so took it to TB to get it assembled and fixed. They told me that if I sent the bike company the invoice they would probably cover the cost of the assembly and repair. Which they did. Not only did they do that the bike company also gave me a £50 voucher.

The best bike service shop in the north of the UK. The sraff members contribute to the community more than just bike service, they incuriging kids to stay out of trouble by showing kids how to repair bike's and giving tips regarding performances on the track ect.

3 times now I’ve used Butterworths and not a positive outcome any of the times !Firstly fixed a few broke spokes and they only lasted a week ! They also said it would be ready in two days I was 4 before I heard anything ! Not a call or update at allI then had the full wheel rebuilt then that’s broke again! So feel it’s not good workmanship at allThirdly I had a bottom bracket replaced which seems to be ok ! But on doing this repair they did not call me to say the front derailer was bent so simply but the bottom bracket on and let me leave the shop my gears are awful now ! So rather than doing the repair then I would have to take it back and be without the bike even longer ! Overall very unhappy with the service provided I wouldn’t go back

How many other bike shops are run by Green Party Councillors? Not many, I'd imagine. There are plenty of in shop options here, plus you can order specific items for collection. One word of warning - it is a busy workshop, but they work really hard to get you sorted out as quickly as possible.

Very happy. I attended a local repair event in the walled Gardens, i was recommended to visit this shop for some replacement cables. The shop was very accommodating and friendly to me, whilst the repair was done. I just got home and my bike feels much better to ride. Affordable and didn't upsell what I don't need, very honest!. Was recommended here by another bike mechanic in Sheffield when they didn’t have the time to fix my spokes. Fantastic service and lovely guys here at Butterworth -£39.99 for spoke fixing and tubeless re install (was quoted £60 by other bike shops!)
