The Discovery
Visited for lunch yesterday and really enjoyed it, we had a mix of burgers and chicken tikka on our table and all were lovely, great prices and fab drinks too. Jo on the bar was happy to make us cocktails and assisted us with allergies on the table! Will be back again.

Was upstairs as no place to set down stairs. All I could smell wee going up the steps bar upstairs was no one in had to order going downstairs food arrived my partner was given my order wich nearly blown her top off as that hot burger was for me . That is why I gave you this rating.

Had dissapointing breakfast. Over cooked sausages with skins líke cowhide. Also over cooked and dried out bacon to boot. All tables and paintwork need a good wash down not just the spray bottle with paper towel wipe down. All tables have sticky unclean feeling as though no one really cares. Not in a rush to go back.

Visited with some friends for food today, I was really impressed with the staffs knowledge of the menu and allergies. I was asked before placing my food order if I had any allergies (I'm gluten intolerant so always ready to tell the staff, but was great to see the staff were trained to ask straight away as it is easy to forget sometimes!) It was pretty busy at the time and I could tell there was something happening with the food orders at the time, but the lady serving me was calm and sorting out the issues, she informed me the food might be a little bit longer whilst they caught up. This was fine for us! The food turned up after no longer than 15 minutes, piping hot and perfect! Drinks prices also are brilliant, I was told they have offers on Mondays Tuesdays and Wednesdays, which was brilliant! The staff were on top of clearing and cleaning tables pretty quick which is great to see.Will be visiting again.

I got in early afternoon meeting someone. The place was reasonably busy , does food prices are reasonable, toilets are to your left/ahead of you. A long bar, has a few TV,s playing all sports.Got two floors.quite close to the bus station.

Staff Personable, Pub has Downstairs Bar and Upstairs Room, TV's to both.Good Menu Varied Menu, and Good Beers. Pub on Main Street outside of Shopping Arcade, approx Twenty minutes walk to Football Ground. Home and Away Fans together in Pub.
