Red Industries are causing a major health and environment crisis in North Staffordshire. In the future their business practices will be seen as one of the biggest scandal in Staffordshire. If you are looking to go into business with them, you may be tarred with the same brush. I would recommend that you do a quick google search on Red Industries before using them.

Red Industries has no interest in anyone that doesn't keep their bank account happy". The way they "manage" Whalley Quarry is truly disgusting and they have no consideration for the local residents. The obnoxious smells fill the air from 3.5 miles away

The quarry in silver dale absolutely stinks. I find myself apologising to friends and family when they visit me. I live a couple of miles away but can still smell it.

Quite possibly the most incompetent waste management and landfill operator in the whole of the United Kingdom - possibly the continent of Europe. Thank goodness they only operate one landfill, as God forbid they owned others as they clearly can't even manage one without causing public health issues for everyone in Newcastle under Lyme. Great to hear the Council, Environment Agency and the Government are finally taking action to shut them down!

The stench from RED owned landfill, so close to a residential and public area, not to mention the town it is near is disgraceful. There is no compassion for the locals.

Absolutely disgusting and appalling handling of Walley’s landfill. No care for the local communities affected for miles around by the toxic gases being released despite 1000’s of complaints and environmental agency involvement. This coupled with contaminated run off from the site presents irreparable environmental and socioeconomic damage. In addition, hundreds of residents, workers, nursery and school children plus university students are experiencing new and exacerbated health problems, both young and old. Enough is enough.

I collect from hear regularly very helpful get you in as quick as possible sometimes a wait but they let you know as soon as you arrive if they are busy lads always help strap down very helpful
