Portree Dental Care

My first ever appointment having a small amount of work done two or three days ago at Portree Dental Care, where I've been registered for a few months only. My impression was of calm, welcoming & friendly reception & dental staff & the quality of work carried of by the dentist (Dr. Zahid Ahmad) & the dental nurse (apologies, name forgotten) was as good as I would have hoped for. So far, a really positive & confidence-boosting experience, for which, many thanks.

With all the issues on Skye over dentists. Portree Dentist was beyond amazing, supportive and helpful. Can’t praise them enough.

Can I just say Wow. What a great experience, coming from someone who has a huge phobia of dentists. These gorgeous ladies looked after me with so much consideration and professionalism, they delt with my issue within minutes and despite my panic attack they kept so calm and pleasant, Wonderful job and no problem going back. I came to this dentist office in June during my vacation to Portree after I chipped my front tooth. I was halfway through my trip and didn’t want to spend the rest of it hiding my smile because I was insecure. I came in with no NHS insurance and having never been a patient and they got me in within a few hours. They were so caring and speedy on fixing my tooth. I was out the door in 15 minutes! I keep joking to friends and family that the most expensive keepsake I brought back from Scotland is my new tooth, but the crazy thing is, it would have been more expensive to have it fixed back home in Washington State, USA with insurance! Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your hospitality! Five Star Dentist for sure!!!

The dentist was exceptionally helpful when I sought assistance with severe tooth pain. Even though the clinic was visibly understaffed and he was trying to cover reception and a continuous stream of phone calls he was calm and attentive. Thank you.

I have had extensive experience of dentists over the years as I have had numerous problems with my teeth. On this occasion I had severe pain and had an emergency appointment. Unfortunately I had to have the tooth removed. This was without doubt the most kind and caring dentist I have experienced. The dentist and the dental nurse were professional and reassuring they ensured that I was fully informed and supported throughout the procedure. I will gladly return even though I have to travel over an hour and a half each way. Would highly recommend to all and they definitely pass the friends and family test.

Can't thank this practice enough. Had an emergency whilst on holiday, got an appointment straight away, and every single member of staff involved absolutely lovely. Kind, professional, efficient....we're so grateful to them.
