Absolute dire entrance to the place. You will not be best pleased and may freaked out going into this place. We got trapped between doors that wouldnt open. It is piled up with furniture around the tables and is crying out for a refurb. The people in there don't seem fazed though, they are there for the game. Postives - It's cheap compared to more upmarket clubs and the owner is very friendly. The folk playing are all decent. No riff raff in there.

Convenient, cosy and cheap for a pool game between friends. For public transport users, avoid taking tram to this place, bus stop is closer to it than tram stop.

Cheap and cheerful pool in a historic venue. Friendly owner/landlord with some interesting ipa's and great value drinks. They don't sell food but as long as your tidy it seemed ok to bring your own in which is a friendly touch

A credit to the owner for keeping this open in the hardest time anyone could have in the 20 years of it being there. A lot of stairs to climb, no heating, a limited drinks bar but lots of well kept tables to play on. Please support this venue through these hard times.

This snooker Hall and pool hall is antiquated and in need of refurbishment in many places for modern day standards. Personally I like the feeling of the old rough edge snooker place that have existed for years. The main floor of snooker table is OK but I recommend asking to play on the match tables upstairs for an extra couple of pounds. Drink prices are reasonable and the owner and his staff are very helpful and nice with good banter when you require it. All in all if you want a game of snooker or pool and a drink to pass away a few hours this place OK.

Such a friendly place to be. My 7 year old and 15 year-old love it here and we take them to play every week. Always greeted with friendly faces and a warm brew!

Yes it does need a hot food menu & major refurb but you would be paying £5 per hour instead of all day rate... and to be fair the tables are decent so all in all can't grumble
