Happy Nails Kingston

Went in to get refills on my gel nails, listed as £20. Showed the lady a picture of what pattern I wanted (Green image below but in Pink) which was no problem. Half way through the lady said I needed powder as my nails were too thin which would be an added charge then proceeded to say because I wanted different colours it would be an added charge (fair enough but this should have been mentioned when I first showed the pattern) & then as I'd had an acrylic put on one nail there would be an added charge (granted) but the total would now be £39? Anyway I paid £32 & this is what I got (the Pink" image attached)...fair to say I won't be sending my friends there or returning...Ever."

I called up ahead of time to check availability and the lady on the phone was super sweet. From the moment I stepped into the store I was welcomed and made to feel comfortable. They were transparent with pricing the entire time, telling me if something would make the cost go up. I didn’t get the name of my artist but she wore a pink jacket and was so gentle and insanely talented with her general application and nail art I requested. I would recommend this salon a million times over. Thank you so much ladies !!!

I told the lady time and time again my nails are wonky! She didnt care she just made them shorter and shorter and they're covered in messy acrylic very poorly done, I'm so upset terrible job and for 40 pounds, I kept telling her I'm not happy and I get my nails done every 2weeks elsewhere and iv never had this, then she blamed my fingers! and just stopped working then I said to her well I'm really not happy what can I do? She just looked at me and said shall I carry on ie to the painting and I again repeated well I'm not happy and she just Shrugged and carried on now I'm left 40pounds out of pocket with wonky nails all different angles and a lot shorter than I wanted it as well, with very messy acrylic round the sides looks worse than as if a trainee was going to do it.

I used to work in the estate agents next door to them a few years back. One evening, I decided to get my nails done. The shop was packed and everyone was listening/watching.I got to the door and asked for a full set. The younger woman who is the owner started gossiping in her language to another staff member. They was going back and fourth, completely ignoring me. I interrupted them and said is there a problem? The younger one says you didn't pay last time for the service"I said excuse me? What are you talking about? And again she repeats. I then shouted at her and said why would I come back to a place I supposedly ran away from and didn't pay? I worked next door at the time!!!!!Again the gossiping in her language continues. I said forget it

My 1st time going here and they were absolutely amazing, very polite will definitely be coming back

Popped in for mani asked for biab charged £43. Worst mani I've had he put the gel on so thick it dips in some parts plus the edges were left sharp. Will not go back to this saloon.

Avoid! Couldn’t do a simple white tip! Also said my cash notes were fake when they were not! £30 for plain no colour nails!Not a fake review you over 50 1 star bad reviews! We can’t all be wrong! Your feedback is clearly fakebYour shop is a joke! Terrible

The nail salone was clean and accommodating. They had a walk in so I opted to sit in the message chair longer while they took care of the other client. They waxed my eyebrows which was an add on service I had not scheduled and stayed late to make sure my nails were done correctly. Great ladies!

In response to the owner: Yeah nice try, it was this salon.Quite easily one of the worst nail salons I have been to. The wait was fine considering I had not booked an appointment in advance, but the nails themselves took almost 2 hours to do. The nail tech was awful, and didn’t have a clue what they were doing. I asked for almond nails, he gave me square, which I didn’t debate because I was considering square nails anyway. Some of them were more rounded square and some of them were straight up square - in other words, the shapes were all off. He cut my cuticles and made me bleed 4 times, said sorry after each time, and continued doing it. Then when I chose my colour, he came back with something completely different - I asked for light pink, and he wanted to give me dark pink. I asked for the holographic glitter they had advertised. He kept repeating ‘chrome’ and I kept saying ‘glitter’, and when he came back, he came back with gold glitter. By the end of it, he got another nail tech to bring silver glitter that was nothing like what was advertised and I just became so fed up I gave up and went with the silver. He then walked off and said nothing to me as my nails were curing, until I got up to pay thinking it was finally over, and then he quickly shouted at me to sit back down to continue doing my nails - on some he put 5 coats of polish, on some he put three. He didn’t even put a top coat on.As it stands, it has been around a week since this, and already one of the nails came clean off. They barely have lasted a week. Overall, it took almost 2 hours (wait not included) for these nails that in short look like they’ve been done by a 5 year old. Never again.

One of the best amongst the millions! Helen who has done all my treatments over many years is very nice & does a great thorough job. Recommend here.
