Hearty cooked food in a great location. Would have benefited from a non cooked breakfast option. You pay for any drinks at the bar

An absolutely appalling palace they allow a member of staff to be bullied and discriminated against. Management is aware of this as happing Infront of there face but do nothing. As well as bullying to take place on group chats but don’t care. Even with the area manager aware and still doing nothing. In modern world where equality is meant to be a fundamental factor in the work place this place seems to be stuck in the old world where men are not allowed to work in the hotels.

In the hundreds of reviews I have written on Google, I rarely if ever leave bad ones. I think in this case I should - Premier Inn are renowned for setting the bar in the industry but feel this hotel lets them down a bit.On arrival at the hotel and accessing my room, I quickly noticed that despite closing the window, the noise from outside was really loud - I suspect due to failing window seals?I immediately contacted the gentleman on reception explaining that as a very light sleeper this would be a problem and asked if there was anything that could be done. He was very helpful and did offer me a different room, however the only room available was half an interlinked room - the other side of which was occupied by guests. Who were quite noisy with nothing but an internal door to block out the sound.Because of this, I elected to remain in my original room.I found the noise from the car park to be troublesome, car doors slamming, revving engines and cars speeding away down the slip road of the nearby A19 junction waking me at regular intervals during the night. Additionally, this draughty window also resulted in the room taking significant time to warm up and cooling very quickly when the heater turned off. This is in stark contrast to my recent stay at the chains Durham North hotel just a week earlier, which i found to be an absolute dream in comparison.Hopefully these maintenance issues will be ironed out during the ongoing refurb.

We were up for a family wedding celebration. We stayed for 2 nights. Our room was fine apart from there not being any nets at the windows & as we were in a ground floor room thought it a must. The horses in the field across the way were lovely. Our bathroom was horrible, I would go as far as to say dirty! The shower curtain was much too short, I don't like shower curtains anyway. I prefer a screen. The bathroom was awash every time you had a shower, we went to reception & they gave us towels to put on the floor. The toilet pan was very badly marked too.It isn't all doom & gloom though, the breakfasts were very nice & the staff were very good too. We wouldn't rush to stay here again, we prefer the Premier Inn at the marina in Hartlepool but it was fully booked.

Park here and you're liable to get an £85 parking fine from the Toby Carvery next door. They should clearly define to their guests where the demarcation is here!Unless they're in on it of course.

Stayed here for a couple of nights while visiting an industrial facility nearby.Located on a services area next to a Toby Carvery; with a KFC, McDonalds, Greggs and Dominoes Pizza adjacent, but no evening dinner options in-house and no bar. To be honest, and not wishing to sound snobbish, these aren’t options that I’d normally choose for dinner and so I wasn’t too enamoured with the location. Good news, however, is that the Wellington Inn in Wolviston is a decent pub, and only 10 minutes walk away. (Ask the Receptionist or Google!)My room was probably older than some and a little tired, but nevertheless clean, comfortable, and had a hot shower. All of the staff I interacted with were great. The in-house breakfast was really nice; freshly cooked food to order in a clean & fresh environment.Overall worthy of a 4-star review!

Beautifully clean, fantastic service. Everything we needed in the room including a really effective fan which was great as it was during the August heatwave and it kept the room wonderfully cool. The reason I haven't given it 5 stars is because the breakfast was a little bit under and overcooked but it was still perfectly edible.I would highly recommend this Premier Inn.
