Can only comment on the key cutting side, i was in desperate need of a key cutting & would normally go to garners in old skem for this service but was closed this day, i couldn't believe the cost of 2 keys to be cut £13, took him less than a minute to cut them & give me the cheapest key i think you can get out there, cheap feeling brass style keys when the should be stainless type keys, it was made even more shocking when i asked an employee at garners how much they would of charged, he said £10 for 4 keys with the proper key as well,,,,these key are disc padlock keys so not special! Never use them for key cutting again!Reading replys to other similar comments, it's because they provide a better service, TOSH" your cutting a key not cooking me a meal

Messed me about for weeks with my watch glass replacement. Now I’ve been in and they don’t know where it, wouldn’t give me any info or any idea what to do about it. Really really annoyed. It’s an expensive watch and just gone and all I get was I don’t know what you want me to do about it.I had to ring another branch of timpsons to get a phone number for head office so I can try and resolve it. I mean if it’s gone it’s gone I’m an understanding person accidents happen but then you must have insurance or something for this, it can’t just be its lost sorry nothing you can do now and I couldn’t care less.

Been here a few times and always impressed by the standard of service and knowledge. Im not really one for writing reviews but the young man here deserves the highest praise for making mundane shopping trips enjoyable and fun. Cannot fault anything and hope he continues to be successful.

Just popped in as my car key needed a new battery. I was served by the most pleasant man, very helpful and chatty. Very friendly service and so lovely to be served by someone instead of everything being automated. I didn't catch his name (sorry) but he was from Liverpool and in his early 20's.

Have been in a couple of occasions, and each time was greeted by Jamie with a warm, welcoming smile. The shop was very well presented, clean, and tidy - a pleasure to be inside!Presented him the issue with the shoes. Jamie showed real concern as to how best solve the problem, as well as high integrity through not just going for the most expensive solution. Although young(ish) it was obvious he was highly knowledgeable in his craft. Added to which, he was highly professional, courteous, and personable.On collection, saw he had done a great, high-quality piece of work on the shoes.Throughout the whole process I felt that I was dealt with as a human being, not just a problem to process". Customer service was 100%, I went for passport photos for myself and my 2 children. One of my children is autistic and James was amazing with him and made him feel at ease which sadly doesn't always happen. I hope the company realise what an amazing guy they have. Thankyou to James...its the little things that leave a big impression.

Got 2 keys cut. And key ring £17. Was more expensive than asda key cutter 3 for £10.

TIMPSON, ASDA, SKELMERSDALE CAR PARKJAMIE was extremely helpful & knowledgeable. He was able to provide me with a replacement key for my Vauxhall Insignia within 10-15 minutes, at a cost of £50. Thank you again Jamie for an excellent service.
