Leonardo's Guest House

I stayed for two nights at Leonardos. The room was tiny, but lovely. It was clean and had everything I needed. I only saw Leonardo and his wife briefly, but they were very welcoming and friendly. The location of the guesthouse is superb! You just have to cross the street and you are at the beach. Enjoy the seaview and the breeze and walk to Mumbles or opposite to the city centre and Swanseas Marina.I had a pleasant, calming stay and would recommend it!

***BED BUGS*** Stayed in room 6 on the 18/08/2017, I came back to the room to find 4 big visible bedbugs crawling around my partners pillow. We immediately evacuation the room and woke up the owner who then informed us, “we have had a problem in that room before and we thought we fixed it” the owner offered to put us in another room but we didn’t want to stay given the fact of what had just happened. Contacted expedia who we book though and all they suggested to do was change the bed sheets they were no help at all in tiring to find up adequate accommodation.

Very pleasant owners, good food if you opt for the breakfast. The downstairs is nicely decorated, the rest of the property just needs a bit of TLC. Poor soundproofing between rooms, we could hear the people in the next room having an argument and their baby crying most of the night. Some parking nearby but no dedicated parking.

I've ended up having an extended stay with Tina and Leo during lockdown, and now I class them as friends. They're wonderful hosts who can't do enough for you. My ensuite, seaview room was bright, comfortable and it's been kept really clean throughout, by their amazing housekeeping team. The bed is really comfortable, with plenty of pillows and quality bedding. Due to Covid, the kitchen has been closed down, but you still get a lovely breakfast in a bag with muffins, cereal, flapjacks and fruit juice. Of course, tea and coffee facilities are in your room and you can have as many tea bags, milk, coffee and sugar as you want. The shower is powerful, hot water is plentiful, as are fresh towels. There's get free unlimited WiFi throughout the guest house and all the right precautions have are in place to maintain hygiene and social distancing. You're across the road from the beach. If you're going to book a b&b in Swansea, book Leonardo's. You won't be disappointed.

We stayed here when attending a concert in Singleton Park, it was very central to both the park and city centre. Overlooking the sea and a lovely beach opposite! Really lovely and comfortable room, wish we could have stayed longer!! We will definitely return and stay again.

Very friendly, nice room.Ordered Welsh breakfast at £6.00 was very nice, once we had finished I confirm price and was advised £12 gave the guy £20,and he went off.after 10 mins l asked the waitress for my change, she went away and then returned advising the bill was£20?I asked why and she said for coffee and toast, 3 slices of toast and 1 pot of coffee, menu in receptions states 50p per slice and 1 for coffee, we only had 1 pot of coffee, if you add it up still only £3.50, should have had £4.50 change

Very nice stay and warm welcome. The rooms are a bit small but it's clean, you've got a nice bed, a bathroom and everything to make tea! Good continental breakfast included + you can park your car in the streets nearby

I enjoyed my stay a lot. I stayed in a double en-suite room on the sea front for 3 days and 2 nights. The room was clean, and the view was fabulous. In the room there was an electric kettle, tea bags, Nescafe, milk, TV, bedside lamps and heaters. The breakfast was included, and it was enough. The house is only 15 minutes away by foot from Quadrant Bus Station. As shown in the picture, it takes only few seconds from the house to the beach. I felt very welcome. Leonardo and Tina are kind-hearted, friendly and hospitable. As a budget house, this is much more than expected. If I go back to Swansea, I will definitely visit them again. Asil

Excellent family run B&B. Very clean crisp white bed sheets, towels provided. Bathroom etc all scrupulously clean. Last remaining room we had was a little on the small side but perfectly fine for sleeping. Well decorated seaside pictures and matching coasters to suit gave the room a nice homely feel. Our room had a sea view! All positive and would be happy to stay there again on our next visit.

Absolutely stunning views overlooking swansea bay. Rooms exceptionally clean and tidy. Cannot fault the owners. They go above and beyond to help you in any way they can. The breakfasts are fantastic. Juice toast cereal full english breakfast plus tea/coffee. Would highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone. Fantastic place
