Been coming here every so often since I was a teenager and used to pop in for a lunch deal! A great family business that has been part of Anniesland for decades. Great selection of food and staff are always friendly.

This chip shop, right next to Anniesland train station, looks decent from the outside but looks are deceiving. The food was absolutely horrific. Chips were unedible dried up reheats covered in white stuff and the blackpuding was like a brick and tasted like a sewer - it all went straight in the bin. I wouldn't feed this muck to a street dog, they should be jailed for serving this garbage. If you're looking for a chip shop in Anniesland give this one a miss. Terrible.

Got a black pudding supper on the lunch time deal. All reheats. The chips were just about edible; the back pudding went straight in the bin. Terrible.

Fish and Chips was great. There was a little unnecessary confusion about the order which I could not understand - did they try to upsell? - but all good in the end. i like the packaging too.

I will not support a business where staff are rude to their colleagues. I recently saw how they treat their drivers and felt sorry for them. It is so easy to create a sense of a team with a bit of kindness. Staff in this shop are always tense and a bit off, clearly not enjoying working there. My customer experience was poor, too. When you work in customer service, smile is your basic tool. If you're the manager and read this review, you have the power to influence the atmosphere in your workplace. Your staff need some training. Though judging by your cheeky replies to customer reviews, you lack the mindset to address that...

First of all i’m shocked at some of the reviews on here because I genuinely think it’s a brilliant chippy. I’ve always found the food from here very good and tasty. I worked in a chippy for years so I can tell when stuff isn’t fresh, never had an issue with the freshness or quality. We regularly get a pizza and a sausage supper as a Friday night treat & no complaints.

This used to be a great chippy but since they closed for a refurb and since they returned the prices seem to have shot up while the quality has taken a dive.Service is ok and delivery is fairly quick but I'd rather wait an extra 10 minutes to get fresh food and not something that's sat in the hotplate half the night.I'm sorry but if you want to charge more than any other place around you at least make sure the product can stand it's ground.

I was a regular here but one night the fish was really bad. I took it back the next day and was shocked at my treatment by the staff. Their attitude was terrible. Since then I have never been back. When you're paying over inflated prices for less than mediocre food it's time to go elsewhere which I did. I found a great local chippy where the staff are pleasant and the food is great and costs less. Win Win.ETA In response to the poor reply by Gennaro's....Snazzy. Who takes a fish back to a chipshop a day later? Did this really happen? "Yes
