The receptionist are not very helpful and sometimes can be rude, there always different doctors that don't share the information about the patients, so you have to keep repeating yourself over and over again, when you get cross they start trying to blame you for there mistakes. Etc, etc.

Absolutely appalling service, from the passive-aggressive recorded messages when you call up, to the delight the receptionists always seem to take in insisting that the minimum wait for an appointment is two weeks. It's bad enough having to deal with terrible service at the best of times but this is definitely not what you need when you're not feeling well. Katherine Tate's Computer says no" receptionist has nothing on these battleaxes."

I have been with this surgery for 31 years. Over the last five years the level of service has steadily fallen and I would rate it now as appalling. Seems like they trial various systems for dealing with patients. A few years ago it was a case of having to explain your problem to a receptionist who basically decided whether or nor it warranted a doctor's appointment. Totally unprofessional. Receptionists are not trained clinicians. Then it was rationing appointments, nothing for two weeks

Had first encounter today told me no Dr's appointment left for today to call 111 and was hung up on was advised by 111 my son needed to be seen within 6 hours and to call Dr's surgery back I did and then still refused so back on phone to 111 to which they called and said they can see my son tomorrow (saturday) it's not open Saturdays so had to travel to urgent treatment centre for my son will be changing Dr's again after my original Dr's shut never ever again will I contact these they are rude and unhelpful and useless!!!

really lovely and helpful staff, until now, has gone down hill fast. cant log on to web site, cant get prescriptions over the phone and when you do phone there is no answer and the line is dead, which is what i will be if it takes that long to get in touch

What a joke, ive been trying to call to make an appointment,and the line are always busy.

This surgery is absolutely pathetic waste of space and should be investigated as staff and doctors have no idea of mental health problems or any idea how to re-issue prescriptions on time and the anxiety this can cause!!I've been a patient here over 5-years and had the same medication for the same amount of time and yet they still cannot produce it on time!! EVEN when given over a week's notice and even more sometimes it's a disgrace and I feel like I'm being discriminated due to my health issues and feel suicidal at times due to the lack of care and support this surgery lacks..... I do understand that the surgery is under pressure but as a this is a regular pattern I've had no choice but to put a review after years of this happening..Which I'm sorry to do, but please avoid at all cost...

I would not normally bother to write a review for a doctors clinic. As far as I am concerned, they should be adequate.However, I feel I would like to give praise for the receptionists at the Banks Medical Centre because they are always patient and kind and seem to go out of their way to help, if possible.I have not seen all of the doctors at this clinic but Dr Chantelle Simon is by FAR the best doctor I have ever seen.Like her receptionists, seeing this doctor always makes for a positive experience and I hold her in the highest regard.If every clinic was ran like this one is, we would have a much healthier and happier population in this country. 5 STARS FOR THIS CLINIC.

Reception & Doctors are always very helpful and kind, would definitely recommend!
