Buyer beware - car not fit for purposePurchased car and by the time we arrived home 3 hours later, we had issues with the water pump.Was informed that a new Ford engine was fitted with a year warranty checked with Ford, reconditioned engine with no guaranteeWas offered refund on the condition that the car was in working condition(purchased less than 48 hours) and was advised to get it back on a toe truck.Got refund promised but seller wouldn’t honour the €300 cost of toe truck in addition to other costsConsidering my son had worked and saved all summer for a car, this experience resulted him being out of pocket as a result of this car not being fit for purposeStay well away

Buyer bewareBought a car of Maurice murphy car sales on the basis the car was in perfect condition. Got the car and drove back home. When I got home the car was leaking coolant. Brought it into my mechanic and the water pump was gone. Was told that a brand new engine was put in and that there was a years guarantee. We then rang ford and they told us that it was a reconditioned engine and that there was no warranty. I spent my whole summer saving for a car to be told that if I wanted my money back I would have to pay for a tow truck back to newry out of my own pocket. I'm now €300 out of pocket because I was sold a car that was not in good working condition. Will never buy a Ford focus ecoboost again

Sold faulty car said he would fix and then wouldn't answer phone, rang of another phone said wasn't his problem and hung up, stay away

My friend bought a car from this guy ..car was never was fit for purpose ..was back at his garage every week .. would not refund my friend the money he paid for the car when he wanted a refund deducted £1000 .. sad thing was my friend was terminally ill at the time when he bought the car and the dealer knew this . Unfortunately my friend has since passed away .. this guy does not deserve business should have taken him through consumer rights for used cars ..
