Sweet's Fishing Tackle
Jean Williams is a gem whose knowledge of fishing is encyclopaedic and who ties beautiful flies. She can take orders over the phone (persevere to get through) and you collect. Awesome!

Very small shop with limited tackle. It's not always obvious when the shop is open as quite often the front window is covered in a blanket.

Great traditional fishing shop met a wonderful helpful lady who was very friendly and knowledgeable she told me all about the fishing history on the Usk. She recommended some good flies to use. Was a pleasure shopping at this shop and found it very refreshing and I could of stayed there all day but I had Togo fishing. Thank you for an outstanding experince.

Sweet's Fishing Tackle
When I arrived the shop was shut. A notice was displayed saying the owner would open when she felt like it. A neighbour across the road told me the owner often did this but might return later. I waited and phoned an hour or so later but was unable to make contact. As I was hoping to buy a fishing permit not sure what to go. Very frustrating.
