The Blakeney Hotel

Didn't stay but popped in for something refreshing from the bar after a walk over the causeway - great views although I hear the upstairs lounge is much better but was closed to non hotel residents when I visited. Upmarket in atmosphere and in the higher £bracket though well used.

No better place on earth than Blakeney quay. We’ve been coming here for years and it’s been loved by every generation. A fresh prawn sandwich, crabbing off the quay or a long walk out at low tide to Blakeney point. All will create wonderful memories. And when you go be sure to stay at The Blakeney Hotel as the location is phenomenal, service flawless and food wonderful. Amazing!!

First visit since covid ,we have been visiting the Blakeney for about 40 years,this has to be one of the best.A lot of new staff members this time ,food was the best ever ,hope it will not be too long before our next visit .P.S what happened to the jacuzzi

This place is a gem with beautiful walks on the hotels doorstep. It is clean and dog friendly and the food was fantastic, very romantic, we have a great stay and will be back again.

We only popped in for a pint and to get out of the rain. The open fire was roaring and it was so cozy. Shame we weren't there longer really!

Stunning location, the Blakeney hotel is set in a beautiful period building. The room we stayed in was comfortable, clean and functional. One star less as the bathroom definitely needs updating. Shower in the bath feels very dated and the shower itself is underpowered. Shower curtain is pretty much in permanent contact with you during showering. Not great considering the room rate. Evening meals and breakfast are excellent. Staff for the most part were friendly and helpful, but the checking process felt rushed and we were left with more questions than answers. One or two members of staff were a little indifferent towards us, but generally this was the exception. The bar is excellent and overlooks the coastline. Only minor complaint is just two lagers to choose from neither of which are that appealing depending on personal taste. Lastly, gym is a little small and limited proportionally for the size of the hotel. At the time we visited the one and only treadmill was out of action.

My parents have been staying at this hotel for the past 20 years and have always had a lovely time and are loyal customers. So I am really disappointed and angered that due a nasty fall resulting in a twisted knee, the hotel have refused to let them change their reservation and instead insist they pay the full amount despite being unable to stay. Shocking customer service shown to such loyal customers.

This place is such a great find I was reluctant to write this review as I don’t want it to become too popular.We stayed in one of the premier rooms looking out on the quay. It was a really spacious room with lovely views over the quay side looking out to sea. On the quay side you had kids crabbing all day and other kids sliding down the mudbanks into the tidal river , covered from head to toe to dark mud. It was how I imagine a holiday was in the 1950’s.The food in the hotel was superb and we unusually ate there every night, it was that good.Service from staff was faultless.The pool and steam room were lovely.We will be back.

Flatters to deceive. Great location and well presented inside. Staff are friendly and well managed by manager. Unfortunately this place appears to be run by owners who care more about the bottom line than giving their customers a wonderful experience. The bedroom need improving, showers cleaned and sone of tje mattresses are very dated. It is a pity as it promises so much, but fails to deliver to thè the prices asked. We went to a well known 5 star hotel, which was 2/3 price.

Went for a winter get-together of friends at lunchtime. Extremely good food with top quality use of ingredients, beautiful presentation - it couldn't have been better. So very impressed - will definitely come again.
