I am very happy with the service provided by CSH Roofing. They installed a Dry Ridge System on our roof to improve the ventilation in our loft and therefore prevent condensation. They were quick to respond to my enquiry and maintained clear communication in the run-up to the installation. The contractors were very professional and friendly and performed the work to an excellent standard.I highly recommend them!

We had not dealt with csh roofing before. They came to sort a roof leak which was dripping in to our bedroom. We found them fantastic. We would happily recommend them.We got a quote and they started shortly afterwards. We found the feedback exceptional. They phoned saying when they would come round , they arrived on time. The kept us informed about the issue and the resolution progress throughout. When they arrived , we found them efficient , good natured and professional.When the job was complete , they showed us exactly what was done ( but as they were keeping us informed there were no suprises).In fact, there was absolutely nothing to complain about.Any future projects regarding roofs , they will be at the top of our list.

CSH carried out survey and were able to identify the cause of the leak on a one storey pitched roof extension. The team managed to fit the works very quickly despite a busy schedule.Great communication and responsiveness throughout, with a professional, tidy and courteous team completing the works. A guy came over to give us a quote for a leaking roof. Agreed to email the quote the following day. Chased 3/4 times, said they were too busy and advised will have the quote by the week end. Almost a week on no response. Tried calling , texting and leaving messages and they ignored and stop taking my calls. I found them to be unprofessional certainly don’t recommend.

Sam did a reasonably good job on the roof but his work caused damaged to a number of my ceilings inside the house. He agreed to find someone to deal with the damaged that he had caused but then went completely silent. After numerous calls, messages I have heard nothing I am now left to pay for the damage he has caused.He also caused damage to my decking but refused to cover the cost of it.Still 5 months later he ignores my calls. I am totally dissatisfied and shocked he has behaved this way.Avoid at ever cost!

CSH carried out 2 separate surveys free of charges to establish the cause of a leak. Having identified the problem they, despite a very busy workload, provided a team to resolve the issues within 5 working days. The guys who carried out the work were courteous, skilled, experienced and very efficient. Very heavy rainfall followed in the days after the work was completed. Thanks to CSH, the leak is fixed.

I'm very pleased with the repair work done by CSH. They were friendly and helpful to speak to, James showed me photos of the work and explained it properly which I appreciated. They were clean, tidy and quick, I'm happy to recommend them.

Reposting from October as my original review has miraculously been deleted.1. Still waiting to receive the warranty which I was promised. CSH roofing has decided to completely ignore any calls and texts from me.2. The job ended up costing over DOUBLE what I was quoted, understandably they uncovered a big problem whereby the rafters of my old property were rotten and they had to replace them, but: I was told that carpenters were coming to do the woodwork only to find roofers doing the woodwork. Also told all wood would be replaced, but that isn’t the case. The woodwork is shoddy and I question the longevity of the work.3. I was quoted Tyvek membrane to be laid under the slates, but a cheaper alternative was used. Also note untidy work with remaining flaps of membrane not cut back.4. My property is over 200 years old, and one character of the building was some detailing of brickwork around the perimeter which could be seen under the guttering. I wanted this to remain visible, but this has been covered by the new fascia when guttering was installed. When the new fascia was installed, my neighbour now has a leak in their gutter. My neighbour has been unsuccessful in getting a response from CSH Roofing.5. Both my neighbour and I decided to have our roofs refitted by CSH at the same time. This meant that the new battens being fitted were not long enough to stretch across the whole length between mine and my neighbours, and so understandably the battens had to have joins. However, I’ve since learnt after sharing photos of the fitted battens with my credible source, that they decided to join all of the battens in the same place, meaning that over time the roof will weaken and I was also told that this would not be passed by building regulations. Unfortunately I am not an expert and if I’d have known all of this beforehand I would have raised this with CSH, perhaps this is why I am not receiving my warranty.6. The mess which was left behind after they left only became apparent when I really inspected everywhere. I’ve picked up over 100 nails, swept enormous amounts of cement and debris from the pavement and my garden, but I have since realised the additional mess left behind on my kitchen roof which is a single story extension, I will eventually need to get a ladder up there to clean it since it is blocking my drains.7. They also organised the scaffolding through a family member I was told. The scaffolders came to fit the scaffolding the weekend before the roofing work started, but didn’t erect scaffolding at the front of the property as the pavement license hadn’t arrived… I was told it would be put up in the next couple of days when it arrived, but was assured the roofers could start at the back of the house whilst we waited for the license. For context, I live on a busy road where passers by including children going to school walk past. Long story short, I ended up calling the council myself to find out when the license would be issued as I had paid for scaffolding across all 3 parts of my end of terrace property, to be told that there had never been an application. The roofers decided to proceed work without scaffolding across the whole of the front of the house, which I am disappointed about because not only did I pay for it, but it was extremely dangerous, for the workers and also passers by. Especially when I was told by the pub a few doors down that they saw workmen drop slates from the roof onto the pavement.To summarise, I am extremely disappointed that I have forked out a significant amount of money, especially when I wasn’t expecting to pay over double the initial quote. I am more disappointed that I have been promised and promised my warranty and I’ve not received it, and it feels like as soon as the money is taken it is off to the next job and ignore your existing customers. I just want to give a full and honest review for anyone else who is considering them, here are some bits of advice which you should take if you appoint CSH to do your roof.

They came and fixed my roof when we had the big gale this year and when I noticed that the gutter had moved one call is all it took for them to fix it with in a day. Great people and very professional. I have them on speed dial for the future. Brilliant will always recommend them to friends and family. Thank you CHS Roofing.
