I have been a customer for more than 12 years and never had a bad experience there always helpful staff ready to assist you on your enquires and did a great job when dealing with pandemic times big Thank you to all the staff especially the ladies in the pharmacy.

It's a branch of Boots, a lot like all the others. Not a very big branch, just got the basics, but handy if you need a prescription and live locally. A very nice café next door, you can pop in for a tasty sandwich.

Boots in Heworth Village (opposite the Church) is maybe one of the best pharmacies in York. The Staff are delightful and so helpful.

The worst customer service I have ever received. I know we are going through a pandemic however this is not the first time I have received bad service there. I went in today for to pick up a prescription that was forwarded from my doctor. I was stood outside 10 minutes waiting to get in in the first place then I stood inside for a good 15-20 minutes I was not acknowledged by any of the 4 staff that were working in the back there was 1 lady serving the customers and the other 3 in the back. Eventually the lady serving shouted one of the other members of staff out of the back, she came and took my details went to find my prescription. Waited another 5 mins to be told they didn't have it and I would have to order it for the following day. The customers service really is shocking in there the staff do not acknowledged you for quite a while and more often than not do not have the medicines to complete your prescription.

My local Boots chemist is a great place to shop. The usual Pharmacist is called Sally and she is quite wonderful, very friendly,calm and always approachable for medical help. There is a Yorkshire saying that someone is a treasure and Sally certainly is a treasure.

The staff are all really friendly, great service and one of the staff with short blonde hair is super cute!
