Lovely menu, which gives you so much choice that you can get lost in it! Everything is tasty and quickly served. Service is very efficient and friendly. The waiters are happy to help or explain items from the menu. The place is very popular so you need to be prepared to wait in a queue outside for at least 30 min. at peak times. You can't book a table for 2 in advance, which, I think, is a very unreasonable rule! This needs to be revisited.

This is a pretty small restaurant. Huge range of food. All cooked fresh. Very reasonably priced and really friendly service.So glad our friend recommended it...

An affordable place to get Japanese food in London. There are lots of options, and the food comes in astronomical portions.I got the sushi bento which was very filling, and the sushi/sashimi was of decent quality. My boyfriend ordered the katsudon which he was able to finish, but probably would've been enough for 2 people with small appetites.

Went for lunch service and it was a good experience as there was friendly staff, food arrived quickly, no queue and no service charge. It was just a little cramped but nevertheless comfortable. The prawn tempura was very crispy and big. The salmon and chicken teriyaki bento (also came with soup) was a big portion and very good for value!

Eat Tokyo Holborn is a cozy restaurant that serves authentic Japanese cuisine. The dining area is quite cramped, which can make it a little uncomfortable to dine in, especially during peak hours. However, the food is definitely worth it.I ordered the vegetarian tempura bento, which was delicious. The tempura was crispy and not too oily, and on the whole the vegetables were cooked well except the asparagus which was unpleasantly chewy. The bento also came with rice, miso soup, and a side salad, which made for a very filling meal. It was also reasonably priced, which was a plus.Unfortunately, the pumpkin croquettes were a bit of a letdown. They were quite bitter, which made them difficult to eat. However, this was just one dish out of many, and it didn't detract from the overall experience. Service was a bit rushed with the bill being hastily thrust upon us near the end of the meal.Overall, I would recommend Eat Tokyo Holborn for anyone looking for a taste of Japan. Get there early to avoid the busy queues.

I really enjoyed my visit to Eat Tokyo for lunch today! I usually shy away from Eat Tokyo because the queues in the Soho branch is massive and you always have to wait for ages for food! This branch had adequate sitting and is tucked away in a quiet street so there was no wait time at all! Food was also really good. We had quite a few things but my favourite was the Pumpkin Croquettes and the Chirashi-Don! Portion sizes are quite sizeable, so good value for money too. Service is good, but we did have a slightly longer wait for our salmon rolls. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning. The staff members were nice and polite, and very helpful too. In short, really good and the better" branch to visit if you want to avoid long wait times!"

My friend recommended we go here so we went. Even though we booked for 6:30 for 4 of us they wouldn't let us in till our whole party was there and we're going to let in others ahead of us? I thought it was so weird because if you book I don't see why everyone needing to be there is an issue...The food in itself was good and reasonably priced but the service charge was hefty.All in all a good place for food but don't expect much from service as it's fast paced.
