Hunstanton Watersports - Kitesurfing School and Lessons

Learnt to Kitesurf with Steve and his team in 2020 (Did the 3 day course) and had a top up lesson in 2021. Can't recommend it enough - Steve is extremely patient and a great teacher! One thing to note, is that the wind & weather isn't always on your side so you need be flexible. Looking forward to booking in some more sessions and ripping it down in Hunstanton!

Having done a little kite surfing tuition previous to a private 2 hour one on one lesson, I was very nervous about heading out on the water!I must say I had nothing to be nervous about, my instructor lee was an absolute legend! Very patient and knowledgeable on what I was doing right and wrong and pointed me in the right direction every time!I would highly recommend to anyone who was thinking about doing some kite surfing!I will definitely be booking more lessons in the near future.Thanks guys x

Have been for both paddle boarding and kitesurfing and would thoroughly recommend them. Steve and the team are all super helpful and friendly.Paddle boards are great quality, instruction is available and when I went it was 30 degrees, flat calm, clear water and not at all like an English summer!! Really enjoyable.I also booked the 3 day Kitesurfing course and have just finished it, spaced out over a few weeks, due to weather and other commitments. Steve really puts you at ease, really chilled and enthusiastic, he makes it look so easy and inspires confidence. I managed to get surfing with some great instruction and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.I will hopefully be back for more and absolutely recommend theses guys.

Having spent two of three days kitesurfing with Steve and his team I have been impressed by the way they organise their courses to include each person and get everyone on the water to learn as much as possible in the day as well as make if fun and safe. Although I still have a day to go for my stage 2, I have heard Steve offer follow on support with advice on kit to those who have completed, there enthusiasm for the sport is infectious.If your hovering on weather to give any of their courses a go don’t, just book it!Thanks guys.

Steve is a wonderful kitesurfing instructor and got me up and riding in 3 lessons! I’ve also been to his ladies nights on Tuesday evenings and they are so lovely for a leisurely paddle board session.Highly recommend his services!

The three day kite surfing course has been one of the best things I've ever done! Steve super chilled instruction got me got me up doing water starts and getting upwind. I'd fully recommend to anyone wanting to learn to kite surf! Thanks for getting me started in this awesome sport.

Totally fantastic experience of Stand Up Paddle Boarding training with Steve, Gwyneth and Louise. Whole family had a great time and would love to come back and do some more watersports soon. Did an introduction stand up paddle boarding session along with my 12 year old last week. As a group none of us had done it before and Steve was really patient with everyone and great with my son who was the youngest in the group. He made everyone feel at ease. I’ve never don’t anything like that before and I’m generally terrible at anything approaching a sport but it felt like something everyone could have a go at. I loved it!

I had a great lesson with Steve and Lee last week following a break from kiting. For me they bring a perfect mix of kindness, fun and push! Exactly what I needed to get me back out there. Thank you! I can't recommend Hunstanton Watersports enough - do it!!

Fantastic experience! We will definitely be back. My wife and I took the 2-day kitesurfing course. Steve was made the experience easy all the way from the initial booking, weather delays, to the actual day of lesson. He and his team made the lessons fun, safe, and effective... plus access to great equipment and facilities (at the sailing club site). We look forward to continuing to practice and take lessons with Hunstanton Watersports.
