Ken Gregory & Sons Funeral Directors

We have been dealing with Ken Gregory's,for many years and after losing my partner at Christmas 2019 I my self kept it in the family to use them again. My partner's father used them for his wife,then again by my partner for her father who was a great friend of ken Gregory.They are truly helpful caring and look after you needs at such a difficult time and because of this I find it important to thank them for their lovely service provided.Regards John.

So glad we decided to go ahead with Ken Gregory for our father's funeral. They were brilliant from the 1st phone call to the end of service on the day and even after. They took our cultural differences into utmost consideration and obliged to every need. The communication has been excellent, everything was clearly explained. They treated us with respect and empathy. Special thanks to Ann and Matthew.

My whole family would like to thank Ken Gregory's Funeral Directors for carrying out my mothers final wishes to the letter with a real attention to detail. It has been a real difficult time but Covid-19 has made things a lot more complicated with new rules and regulations but Hayley really went the extra mile with such care and compassion to overcome the obstacles whilst considering our wishes but also protecting her staff.On the actual day the staff treated my mum with the most dignified respect and in particular Matthew who was the actual Director on the day was amazing, he made sure it went just as we'd talked about the days before when he called to run through things. The flowers were absolutely stunning,exactly how my mum would have liked them and the car was immaculate. Thank you so much for doing a fantastic service for my mum and my family. If I could give more stars I would.

Don’t have a funeral through this company as they misinform you over important information which affects things later down the line. Then make out your a liar when there was 3 people in the room that say the exact same things that we were misinformed. Now we can’t honour my mum how we want to!!! Honestly let down by so many people. They quite easily take your money though. Disgusting service. I already went to complaints team and got nowhere, received a phone call and that was who insinuated we were liars and weren’t helpful at all.

Ken Gregory & sons went above and beyond for our family. We could not of asked for a better send off. I would highly recommend. Thank you to charlotte, Anne and John especially for making the funeral perfect for our Dad.

Thank you so much for helping us arrange such a lovely service for mum. Everything was so much easier with your perfect service. All the staff are very helpful and very kind which made it a little easier to arrange and deal which such a hard thing to do.

From first contact to the funeral itself, I was confident that all our requests would be fulfilled. Everything was simple to arrange and all members of staff treated us respectfully and courteously, taking away a lot of the stress and anxiety involved in arranging a loved one's funeral. I was especially pleased with the Order of Service booklets, including photos of mum (and dad). Many friends and family commented on these and the way we were able to personalise the service with our choice of mum's favourite music. I must also add that the vicar did a wonderful job, putting together a PowerPoint and live streaming the service. Our son (unable to travel from Poland because of Covid restrictions) was very grateful to be able to see the celebration of his grandma's life. Thank you again.

Amazing lady who looked after me during my appointment. Although its a sombre subject that no one wants to address, with both my parents and partner all passing away unexpectedly and out of the blue, I thought it only wise I have a plan in place. I have a teenager and I would not want to add to his burden whilst already trying to cope with a whole spectrum of emotions {that grief brings you at this awful time} The way she dealt with everything was so tactful, understanding, empathetic, yet still managed to be informative, straightforward and still made me giggle a few times. Honestly, the best at her job and I would certainly recommend.

All I can say is Amazing. I’m one that likes every just so and the Mansfield branch delivered everything I needed.They came to my house to arrange everything ✅They kept in contact regularly ✅They actually took mum to a different chapel of rest so I could see my mum more. as I live to far from the Mansfield branch to see her✅✅✅The staff are amazing sympathetic, kind and nothing is too much trouble. A massive thank you to Ann, Francis and Mathew who reassured me everything would be fine on the day. Also to the other staff members who helped on her big day. Believe me mum would have loved it. She got the special send off she definitely deserved.That is why I gave 5 stars today.
