Wonderful haircut and colour. Joe really got the best out of my hair and I love it- and so does everyone else!

The best hairdressing experience of my life. Five stars are simply not enough. Joe is a curl maestro who loves his art and takes time to get to know you and understand what you want. If you have long hair like me and want to keep your length, he’s your guy. He also happens to be an absolutely delightful person. If you want a great cut in a warm, welcoming and inclusive environment, go to Joe.

Joe doesn’t just do curls, he understands them very well and how to care for them in the long term. When I had my first haircut with Joe at the end of last year, my hair had been falling out a lot and I hoped a haircut would help. The haircut did, but perhaps what helped most was the guidance Joe gave in looking after my particular hair type and the products that he recommended I buy. In the end he gave me the hair cut for free! I’ve been using the products since then and have noticed a real change in how my hair feels. It’s falling out much less, re-growing and it’s so long now! It’s already rare to find someone who can cut curly hair well, but to see an improvement in my hair growth as a result has been a wonderful bonus. I’ll definitely return to Joe for my next haircut, and probably quite soon as the products have run out!

I had my first appointment with Joe this week. After twenty-three years of life, I finally have someone who fully understands my mixed-race hair and how to care for it!Joe is super warm, friendly and knowledgeable about curly hair with years of experience. I was worried I would have to do a big chop as my curls are significantly damaged from heat and previous bleach; unlike most hairdressers, he only took off my ends and recommended different products and techniques to care for my hair going forward.I couldn’t recommend anyone better than Joe, but don’t expect results overnight or a massive transformation then and there.What I’ve learnt is, manage the damage! Be patient and show your hair TLC! I’m fully confident the results will be worth it!I look forward to seeing the outcome in the coming months. Joe is the curl master!

I had such a brilliant haircut from Joe! I have really fine tight curly hair with lots of different curl types as I’m mixed race, and Joe gave it a great cut. He really listened to what I wanted and treated my hair with care, and styled it brilliantly too. It was an overall great experience and I will definitely be visiting again!

It's a pleasure going to see Joe. Such a relaxing experience and he always puts you at ease. My third visit and I trust him completely with my curls. My first colour yesterday. Some warm lights through the roots to break up the grey. I bought product too which makes such a difference for after care at home. I'm so pleased I found him! I had my first hair cut with Joe today and he didn't disappoint. As anyone with short mixed race hair knows, it can be tricky to find a hairdresser that understands your hair and knows how to cut it. Joe is clearly an expert! He is not only highly skilled and experienced, he is also warm, welcoming, funny and makes a cracking cuppa. Such a relief to find him. I highly recommend him.
