We chose Kings Carpets to fit out the upstairs of our new property, and we couldn't recommend them enough! King's is a family run business and the level of service provided by the team is outstanding. The showroom is immaculate, with a huge range of carpets to choose from, suitable to all budgets. Jack really took the time to listen to our needs, pointing us in the right direction for something long lasting and tough wearing for our family home. All the staff are super friendly, professional and very reliable. Our new carpets look fantastic. Thanks again to Jack, Martin, Bob & all the team.

When we had a carpet fitted in our lounge and dining room in January this year we noticed what looked like 'join' lines in the carpet in 3 places. We phoned Jack, Manager at Kings Carpets, who felt the lines should disappear with hoovering, but if they didn't to let him know. In the meantime we experienced excessive pilling - we were lifting handfuls of fluffy wool off the carpet every day and our carpet no longer looked new, even after vaccuuming. We spoke to Jack about our concerns and he came to view the carpet. He immediately recognised the lines as a fault in the carpet and the pilling as excessive. A Carpet Inspector came to visit and his report confirmed that the lines in the carpet were a manufacturing fault and Jack invited us to choose a replacement carpet.We were not confident in having the same type of carpet fitted so we chose a different carpet which in fact was slightly cheaper. Our new carpet has now been fitted and we are delighted with it. Jack promptly refunded the difference in cost to us.Throughout this somewhat stressful experience Jack has been so understanding and helpful - reassuring us that the problem WOULD be resolved. We can't praise Jack and his team highly enough and will continue to use Kings Carpets and highly recommend them to others - first class customer service and a great team of carpet fitters.

I have dealt with kings carpets a few times now and can honestly say I would never go anywhere else for my carpet and flooring. The customer service is outstanding from the choosing and ordering to the fitting. Recently I have had to get something sorted quickly and Jack arranged for someone to come out the following day. Please if you’re thinking of a new carpet then give kings a go. It definitely pays to use our local and independent companies.

Outstanding sales experience with Jack who assisted us and advised us through our order. Professional and very easy going, simple process to get our flooring requirements measured up, ordered and installed. Our fitter was EXCELLENT who did a fantastic, fast job and even managed to finish the work earlier than expected! Would definitely recommend.

I would recommend Kings Carpets Barnstaple to anyone. Family run business, we dealt with Jack and his father, they are both so helpful, friendly and very informative. The fitters, Wayne and his colleague are so professional, we've just had fitted wardrobes and I was slightly concerned about them being damaged but I didn't need to be as the guys were so careful. They have done an excellent job and the carpet is beautiful quality. We will definitely be returning for our stairs and landing. Thank you :)
