Glenpark Caravan Park
Campsite is decent, the wash block is small but very clean. Very close to Gortin Glen and Glen Park Estate & restaurant. Camping pitches are ok, there is plenty of space, though you have the choice of beside a road or a plot of land behind the toilet block which you can't park up at. The music from the Estate/wedding venue is very loud, thumping base could be heard throughout the campsite from late afternoon until 1.30-2am both Friday and Saturday nights. Maybe not such an issue in a caravan, but not ideal if you're in a tent. Because of the noise I probably won't stay here again.

We stayed in our camper at Glenpark Estate for two nights and enjoyed the fantatic surrounding area and trail facilities of Gortin Glen Forest Park and Gortin Lakes, both easy to access from the site. Unfortunately our experience of the site and estate itself was less enjoyable. On the first night of our stay we were kept awake by the soundsystem of the wedding party taking place next to the campsite in another part of the estate. The bass was booming across the site until 1.30am.When I asked about a broken campsite facility at reception the next day I was told it was unlikely to be fixed that weekend as we are flat out with weddings". I took the opportunity to ask if there was another wedding party as we were kept awake the previous night and was met with a shrug and simply told there were weddings every weekend of the summer. No empathy or regret for this situation and the overwhelming impression that campers are second class citizens at Glenpark and we would just have to accept it.Again on the second night we were kept awake by a soundsystem blasting music across the site until 1.30am. I've never experienced anything like it on any other site where lower volume at an earlier time would have you ejected from it.If this venue wants to continue operating a business model serving both weddings and campers it needs to be honest and accept the two elements are not as compatible as they think and make the changes required. Or it needs to be honest that it mostly wants the wedding £ and drop its subpar camping offering."

Lovely caravan site, nice clean tarmac pitches. Good facilities very close to have. Restaurant and bar facilities 2 mins away. Forest park accross the road. Good location near Omagh and the Folk park. Courteous staff when we had a problem with the gate with an email follow up on the issues and extra information given. Will definitely return.

Location and estate facilities are great and staff extremely friendly and welcoming in the main reception and bar. However, very disappointed with the caravan and camping site.... especially at the £30 charge for a pitch (without awning). When we arrived, we just had to enter the code sent to us by email at the barrier and go find our pitch. No check-in staff to give any information about the site and facilities. There is a 2 hour period between check out and check in which I imagined would be for purposes of checking that the pitch was cleared and ready for the next guest. However, our pitch was covered in litter an cigarette buts. We witnessed other sites being vacated leaving food waste and dog poo behind and no-one came to check. .The bins were overflowing and remained this way for the next 2 days. The toilet and shower facilities are clean but in need of updating. The camp kitchen consists of 2 stainless steel sinks on an outside wall with annoying push button taps. The wooden panel behind the sink was covered in cobwebs. The showers were also push button, and I can understand that this is to prevent waste of hot water. However, every time anyone walked past any of the open shower room doors, the lights and the extractor fans automatically turned on, even in the middle of the night, so no concern about wasting electricity here.... Easy fix to put door closures on the doors!! Apart from the cleaners, we saw no staff at all on site during our 2 night stay. Communal room was supposed to close at 11pm and doors were still banging at midnight. No signage for directions to estate reception either. Due to its fab location, this site could be absolutely awesome if it was better managed.

No welcome/ reception at arrival, so no idea of facilities. Was given to believe that restaurant was on site. NO! You have to find a wooden path, with no lighting!. Despite having a year old caravan, for the first time ever no UK TV reception. Paid £50 for 2 nights. Will only stay one night. Guys you need to up your game for the price!

We were in our campervan in the Estate campsite. Small with decent facilities. We were the only campers in this beautiful spot and had wild deer grazing near the van. Dinner in the hotel was decent and a good pint of Guinness.

First impressions of pitch not good, litter and rubbish on pitch which we had to gather before using. Rubbish bins full and overflowing when we arrived on Friday and were not taken to be emptied untill Monday. No staff apparent on site to check pitches after they are vacated by previous users. Toilet and shower facilities clean but old and outdated, need refurbished.Pitches adjacent to play park need fenced at rear to prevent them being used as a thoroughfare by children. The Play park is not marked on campsite map so if you require a quiet pitch you need to be aware of this

Stayed here before and we quite liked it, although the pitch fee is abit to pricey for what you get. If this was brought to a realistic price, we would go back

This is a hidden gem. Would recommend to anyone to come stay here. Very well run park. I loved that each pitch is fenced between them to give u a little privacy but not in a way to cut you off. Location is great too, plenty of walking for hikers or to walk your dog. 5 mins from Gortin or 6miles from Omagh. Gortin forest is right on the doorstep also. The forest drive has amazing views on a clear day or just nice to drive through the trees.

Absoluty adore this caravan park, won't be long till we are back God willing, and its on my list of top sites, the staff are all so friendly, the hotel staff go out of their way, even have a dogs menu haha, plenty of water provided for our furry mates, it was so hot in the 30° when we went so dogs and humans alike enjoyed the cold water provided.Marcella the lady who looks after the toilet facilities is very friendly person, and does a great job keeping it all spotless, even thought there were some children being very unruly and messing it up deliberately.Richard the owner came to chat before we left next day, he asked if we had enjoyed our stay and how did we find the park overall, which was over and above any other sites we've been to and we've been to a numerous number, very courteous of him.Go here I promise you won't be disappointed plenty to do and see.Gorgeous tea cafes in Omagh and Gortin, not to be missed out on.We will definitely be back again God willing.Maureen Longstaff
