We have recently had the pleasure of experiencing a weekend at this lovely hotel. It is in an idyllic location and the hotel itself has made the most of the 19th century mansion. All of the staff went out of their way to enhance our stay and nothing was too much trouble for them. Thank you for a lovely weekend.

We have just returned from our stay at Willington Hall and unfortunately very disappointed with this hotel. Myself and my partner opted for the Suite that set us back £200. The suite was advertised as having a four poster bed and garden view. Unfortunately there was no four poster bed and our view was of the carpark and kitchen/bins. The furniture was tired and missing handles, the ceiling was also water stained that was likely the result of a previous leak. The food was lovely and the staff were amazing. At breakfast the following morning there was only one girl at front of house so service was slow and tables hadn’t been cleared. Also alcoholic drinks are very expensive so take a bottle to enjoy in your room!Overall very disappointed as this was a valentines weekend break. If you are planning a trip to Cheshire there are other hotels in the area that offer Spa/Golf facilities and come in at a lower price.

Beautiful country house. Food was 10/10 and best chips I have ever had. Lovely afternoon lunch with my partner. We are having our wedding reception here next year and so excited! Thank you to the lovely staff

In the age of high pressure internet intensity, Willington Hall is the absolute antidote!Calm, conservative, restful, a pleasure to unwind amidst such relaxing calming surroundings.Interesting varied menu for most palettes.Perfectly complementary wine list.Delightful Art Deco restaurant overlooking the Cheshire Plains.A must visit embracing all things delightful.Russell Bracegirdle

An excellent hotel... can't fault it. Great staff, service, rooms, gardens, food and drink. 10 out of 10 all round. Excellent parking, too. We stayed in spacoous Room.1... four poster bed with dual aspect windows looking out over gardens and towards hills. Highly recommended!

Charming accomodation matched by equally charming and attentive staff. Such good value for an exceptionally good evening meal and breakfast. The suite (room number 2) is huge with stunning pastoral views. To be woken by birdsong and sunshine pouring in was an utter delight. Well done for making our stay most enjoyable.

We came here for evening meal on Saturday night, for my fathers 80th birthday.Very poor service, waited 50 minutes for dessert! There was a delay for everything, drinks, food and clearing away. We’ve been here before and enjoyed it, but this time, very disappointing!! It seems if there’s a wedding on, the rest of us are forgotten about.

We originally had our heart set on getting married here as we toured the venue and loved it. Unfortunately, that’s the end of our positive experience, we had to chase and chase after giving all of our information for a quote, and they never got back to us with pricing or availability. We tried for months to follow up, they had so much pride in not having a wedding coordinator as they were a family run establishment, meaning they could build close relationships with us, however, this seems to be their downfall as a dedicated wedding coordinator surely would have been able to get back to us with at least a response. Disappointing venue, but glad this was our experience after not spending a Penny with them, dread to think what our experience would have been if we’d have managed to book and then had to chase for any information!

Fabulous building. Friends invited myself and my wife for my wife's birthday lunch. Absolutely super food. One of our friends was given a wrong dish, but this was corrected after a half hour wait, and was not charged for on the bill. Superb service by the head waiter with full apologies for the mistake.Wonderful location with views around the hall and great gardens. If we get the opportunity we will go again.
