Muskaan Nails & Beauty

Visited Wednesday 21st April 2021. I walked in with no appointment booked and asked if there was availability to get a set of acrylic nails with a painted nail design. The lovely woman, Lydia said I could have a slot for the same day with a short wait of an hour as they had other appointments booked in so I happily grabbed a coffee in the time. I came back to the beauty salon at 5pm and Lydia did an amazing set of acrylics and also advised me that gel paint on top would be better for the nail design I wanted painting by hand too. She is very talented at nail art as she just went off a photo I showed her when I arrived! All the girls in the beauty salon seemed lovely & happy and it was really nice to have your nails done and talk at the same time and not just sit in awkward silence. As I said I had my nails done a 5pm we did run a little past their closing time at 6pm- having acrylic, gel paint & a hand drawn nail design and they seemed very happy to make sure my nails were finished well with no rush so thank you for staying past your working hours! All girls were wearing masks and I was asked to use the QR code for the track & trace, as I was there till the end all the girls were cleaning down the equipment which is really good to see post COVID. My nails cost £35 which I thought was a great price for the set & overall experience there, I will definitely be coming back! Thank you! Amber x

Done a lash lift and tint. The first time they done it you could barely tell I got it done. I then complained and asked for a refund. They offered a redo for free so I went again to see if it was a one time mistake. You could barely tell I got anything done again. The second time the lady took pictures from the bottom angle which even a person with no lashes will look like they have long ones. Whoever is reading this just get the Amazon lift kit, it does a better job.

I would give it less than one start if i could!!! The worst nail experience and customer service ever! That it left me shocked and speechless! It was my first time going to this salon since its near my house and it has some good reviews. I came in, it wasn’t busy morning. Nobody greeted me, I was standing until a lady who was working on someone’s hands yelled across the room “What do you want?” When i called before to book. I was placed in the care of Janvi , a very strange woman. I asked for gel nails since I’ve done my research and know gel is better for nails. She didn’t listen and proceed to do tips and no dip powder on on my hands. While doing my hands she was very rough, and pressed several times on my fingerboard scrape which she decided needed some nail glue on it!!!! She told me “that’s what they do in hospitals”. No sir in hospital they don’t put nail glue on open wounds! She proceeded with her SLOPPY job. And in the meantime she start taking personal calls and checking her mails. A woman also came speaking showing her what resembled a bill. So she was with me but not really and was more preoccupied looking at this bill paper. I was shocked and felt almost like i was bothering him. After she was done shaping my sloppy nails. He asked me to choose a color, I asked him if we can “try this one” she proceeded to not try but paint all my nails the same color. Then she asked me to move to another seat and put my hand in a UV light? While i wasn’t finished and waiting for my nails to dry she already took another’s client and started to do her nails?! At this point. I thought it was a joke! Then the lamp was off and I waiting For her to say something or comeback back to me. Until I had to ask him if I was done? He said you’re done! I looked at my nails and it was horrible! My cutixlea wasn’t cut, my nails looked bloated and uneven. The nails polish didn’t go to all the way to the nail bed. I had a hair imbedded in one of my nails another nail wasn’t smeared. And had powder residues all over my fingers and some acrylic jamming Into my skin because she didn’t bother to file properly. This was my FIRST and LAST time going there! It’s totally unacceptable! I’m so disappointed because i was looking forward to it. And hoping to have great nails for the party tonight!They charged me an extortionate £45 without telling me aswell eventhough we agreed on £35.

My regular nail salon and I can’t fault it! I come every 3 weeks for Biab & gel nails and they never disappoint. The staff are amazing so nice, chatty and fun. I would recommend everyone to come!! Thank you to Priya, Janvi, Shareena and Lydia you are all amazing xx

This was my first time trying out Muskaan Nails and I wasted £40.Firstly, I asked repeatedly for Janvi to file the nails down as I was unhappy with the results but this changed nothing. The first design I asked for was completely wrong and looked awful so I asked her to change it. At this point I realised she had no idea what she was doing or what I had asked and shown her. She changed the design but they look like candy canes and again the nail shape was inconsistent.Finally, we had agreed on a price before hand however when paying, my card was declined because she had added extra onto it. When I disagreed with the price she just assumed I could pay for the new one and as a business making comments like that is very unprofessional.Currently in the process of removing whatever you want to call these things.Please read this before going into this place, it’s a joke.

Used it first time. Lydia worked really hard. Amazing results and very happy with the service. They all were polite professional. Definately will go again. Thanks millions

I am a regular at Muskaan and while it's been good in the past it pains me to write this review. I came in for Acrylic white tips, it was done by Janvi on Friday 6th October, within 2 days the clear gel polish chipped. I had been very careful with my nails since they had been done. To be honest, I didn't think they were cured long enough during the treatment but I left it to the expertise of Janvi. I came back on Monday 9th October and Priya was helpful resolving the 2 nails that had the chipped gel Polish. Again today another day after I've noticed the gel polish has chipped on another nail. I can't keep coming back and forth to get this resolved and it has just cost me in fuel and caused an inconvenience. I'm disappointed with quality of product and service that has been carried out. Not only that the appointments available are limited, I wanted the nails done for a business trip and I just don't have time to come back and forth to sort it. I have to take time out during my working day and lunch break to come, which isn't practical when I have a lot on.Update 11/10/23: yet another chipped gel polish on another nail on my acrylic white tips. The product is poor, cheap and my nails haven't even lasted 5 days since getting them done, despite me being very careful. I'm really disappointed and to think no one has got back to me after this review.
