Small Dog Rescue

It is wonderful to see the level of care Small Dog Rescue give for the dogs they take in. Placed with foster homes, not kennels, and given the medical care they need too. Neutered, vaccinated, dental work etc, all done. We were well vetted too, before we were allowed to adopt little Louis into our family. Thank you, Small Dog Rescue, for doing an amazing job and a special thank you to foster mum Sheila too.

I think it was from here we had Jim 12 1/2 years ago. We enquired about him and you said he was with you on holiday at the time. It turned out you were holidaying in Cornwall, just up the road from us. We met you in the carpark of Jamaica Inn and adopted Jim on there and then.Sadly, Jim passed away this morning after a short demise, aged 13. He was a wonderful, kind, funny dog who we will miss dreadfully.

I just think that by saying no to people who live in a flat without a secure garden is unfair. Surely it would be beneficial of the home visit, to determine the outcome. Of course the wellbeing of the animal is paramount that goes without saying. Just give the adopters a chance as I'm sure you would be happy to see the dog settled in a loving home with regular walks and runs.You do a fantastic job in a never ending need for your services. Hello, My name is Trixie and in recent weeks I was given to Small dog rescue, Landywood Lane Walsall, in the hope that they could find me a new home. Dawn gave me a roof over my head until Clive and Glennis could get all my medical needs treated by the Vet at Warren House on 22.8.18. There was a lot in store for me that day, all of which I did not expect. I was recuperating late afternoon when a Man and Lady visited Clive and Glennis's house and I think they chatted about me. I was put in a car and taken to another house where I had all my recuperation needs attended to. I quickly got used to this Man and Woman and hoped that they would not send me away from their home. After six days I was put in a car and I thought 'oh no not again' After a journey ride I was taken out of the car and into their caravan. The penny dropped then, I was on holiday! I have been told that we will be going on lots of these trips in the future. I am so glad my original Mom gave me away because my life is now so much better. Wuff wuff, I wish to thank Clive, Glennis and their team of supporters for working so hard to ensure my remaining days are what I deserve. You can see me in the picture looking at my new holiday home, I must remember that it is green.

I've recently adopted a lovely little Bichon called Molly. She is a delight, and I would recommend Small Dog Rescue to anyone looking for a new member of the family.

At a very low point in my life I found myself homeless with 3 dogs . I had no place to go and I was faced with having to rehome my babies. After a long search I was referred to Cliveglen small dog rescue, to simply put it they are angels sent from heaven! I was offered support and talked through the whole painful process. I was assured that they would receive the best care and placed in loving homes ( which is all I want as I’m unable to care for them). I have received updates on their progress and pictures which has helped me with this painful situation. I not only appreciate their efforts I’m forever a Cliveglen supporter as they go more than the extra mile to assist with small dogs.

Let me just say what a marvellous job this centre does, people who want to adopt are thoroughly checked out and there homes to make sure these animals are going to the right people and for the right reason, they are all in Foster homes hence transition is a lot easier, we had a 14 week old pup who after 2 nights and days is really settled with his eating sleeping and toilet training. Fantastic place highly recommend and will always use in future.

I've got my little shih tzu Panda who came from Small Dog Rescue and I found Clive & Glenys very helpful & caring people. Also Sam who fostered Panda seems to care very much about the dogs she looks after.
