Fantastic spices at a great price with fast delivery and always happy to lend advice. I used to use supermarket spices but was recommended to try some from here and what a difference it makes! The bottle masala and dragon madras are two of my favourites and taste absolutely delicious!

Haven't ordered a takeaway since buying from this site I've ordered a few times always top notch.

Top Chap, Knowledgeable friendly not at all pushy but very enthusiastic about his products.And talking of his products, nothing bad to say, always had good results and so much cheaper than the supermarket Jars. The bottle masala and Cajun spices Are regularly used in our house, as well as a plethora of different prices when I have time to make a BIR meal.

I bought 2 packages of arnica 2x100 size and amounts. About alls I got was pieces of sticks and stems and very little dried blossoms. The lotion I make is from blossoms, I put in the oil to infuse it and didn’t notice until i was stirring that it was all sticks and pieces of grass. So i had to dump out my whole batch of oil. The money it cost for the arnica and my specialty oil was all a waste of my money. I will never order from you ever again. Your product was extremely poor quality, I expect you to delete this and not be honest about your product.

A bit dissapointing, though I'm sure the spices and mixes are fine. My Mrs made an order weeks ago now, but no dispatch, no word and no refund. I understand that premises are being moved, but failing to communicate doesn't exactly breed confidence.

I have to leave a 5 star review for Derby Daves Bottle Masala. Its the easiest and most delicious curry I have ever cooked from home. The Aroma alone takes you to heaven! Highly recommended!

I love buying spices from Dave. They are only packed on the day they go into the post. The smells are amazing and colours vibrant. Super fresh. Makes the best curry ever. He is always there to help and his Facebook page has many wonderful photos and recipes. Give them a try and order from the comfort of your own home without having to venture out and attempt the cold weather. Have a good curry folks.

I used to buy my spices from supermarkets until I found this little gem of a store. Absolutely the best spices I've ever tasted. They add a new dimension to my cooking. Prices are great too. I'll never buy my spices from anywhere else and the owner, Dave has great indepth knowledge.

I have been following, 'The Curry Secret' on Face Book for a while now and was intrigued by the many references to Dave Hudson and his Herb and Spice Emporium, especially the constant drooling and highest praise for his Bottle Masala. I succumbed to my curiosity and bought some and JUST WoW!!Firstly, Bottle Masala comes in a tin (Go figure) 2 tins actually-and referred to sometimes as: BM. You can buy refills for the tins at a cheaper price: BM is on the more expensive side BUT I tell you it is worth every last penny! There is a recipe for its use on the site though I didn't find it easily but that could just be my poor techno skills...I have purchased other spices and they make you realise what a spice or herb should really taste like! Try the ground black pepper- you find out that even the Pepper Mill ground pepper you thought you were being superior with is rubbish in comparison:) Finally, Dave himself is excellent with his customers: he is prompt is answering all questions, (no matter how naïve) he is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and has a fab sense of humour which is much appreciated in these times. The website is easy to navigate and ordering, simple! You won't go anywhere else for your herbs and spices again!
