Ordered lengths of timber (in stock) for trade via click and collect. 5 day wait so far despite advising up to 8 hours whilst they continue to take further orders. Contacted via phone, no answer. Waited in 100+ queue for online chat to be told that items are being picked with no explanation for delay. Attended at store and advised that they wouldn’t look into order nor confirm when it will be available. Going into 6th day now. Poor customer service.

Myself and my partner went into Wickes on Wednesday evening and after choosing a kitchen we liked, arranged for Jon to come out to us Friday morning to measure up our kitchen. Our home appointment was meant to be at 9.30am, this came and went and there was no word. When it got to 10.30 I called Jon's mobile and left a voicemail while my partner called the store. We were told he had mixed up the days. Absolutely shocking service, from an appointment that was arranged 2 days previously!! No apologies, no contact from Jon. We will be taking our business elsewhere because first impressions are this isn't a very reliable company,.

Arrived at the perfect time today and was straight in and out whilst picking up my click and collect order. Two very pleasant and smiling girls at the checkout area who were most helpful with an enquiry I had regarding another product.The only suggestion I could possibly make for Wickes is to possibly remain open until 8pm, as I would have gone in after work last night to collect my order rather than rising earlier to get it before work this morning.

Item meant to arrive on April 19th. Did not arrive. Used the chat function to explain the issue to be told it would arrive April 21st. Item was scanned in Dundee on the 19th (40 mins away) at 12.16pm. Then the operator on chat says it could be delayed due to heavy traffic and bad weather (even though weather is super) ! Will never order from Wickes online again. I have basically paid £5 for any day delivery sometime........

Prices competitive and the way shop laid out finding things can be a challenge. Staff are generally pleasant. Getting long items through checkout can be a pain. Prices not always clearly displayed and products can be a bit mixed up especially on smaller items.

Went to buy and get some advice on tile paint. I asked an assistant, where tile paint was she pointed down an Ile. I approached the till, and spoke to two young ladies. I got the impression, they didn't want to be working at wicks?!* Left store and went to B&M, the assistant was extremely helpful. Use youngsters who have no idea, don't want to work. pay experienced people who do want to help people and work at wicks. Will think again before entering store again.

Even as a trade account holder the service is shocking, a lot of what they sell is on behalf of third party suppliers, so no accountability.I've had damaged goods arrive and no replacement parts ever appear, items delivered twice as long as the agreed maximum timeframe when purchased and no explanation or apology, then they arrive damaged and they have to sit in my house for a week while they graciously pick them up.Really poor, I would not recommend.

Delivery driver to Cardross St at 8:30am uses whatever is available in reception areas to jam security doors open with no thought for the damage or concern they cause,and only appolgise when caught doing so, ornamental vases,glass ornaments you need a doorstop then use the recipient of the parcel to hold the door for you,or better still carry your own doorstop!!!

Just ordered a kitchen from Wickes after they were recommended to us, Ashley the designer couldn't have done more for us, when I found one large tile was missing from a pack of 6 I went back and Janet sorted it out for us a top assistant with great communication skills. Thank You.
