Me and my friend John did the full day blacksmithing course with Will, It was an absolute blast. Will helped us take an idea we had and make it into something that we could comfortably create in the around 7 hours we had in the shop.He showed us a bunch of different techniques for decorative metalworking; how to forge a point and then round it off as well as 2 different ways to create scrolling.I can’t recommend the full day course enough if you're interested in hitting hot metal with a hammer.

Absolutely fantastic day, Will was extremely informative and a great tutor, with a real passion for his trade, who was more than happy to work at your pace guiding you every stepof the way... also a brilliant host who kept the coffee going all day. Would certainly recommend for anyone with an interest

I visited Will at The London Blacksmith with my Grandad as a present for his 83rd birthday. We did the full day course and had an absolute blast.Will was patient and charismatic, allowing both me and my grandad to enjoy our day and walk away with two hand forged products we were really proud of.I would recommend the day to anyone who likes hands on actives and a bit of manual labour.

Me and my partner did the course as a Valentine's Day treat and it was an awesome experience! Will is a very cool and patient teacher and the 4 hours were very fun and flew right by. In that time frame we maged to make a couple of epic looking bat hooks, which we got to take home.

Superb! An authentic learning experience. Will is a true craftsman that’s for sure and the opportunity to work in his Forge was a privilege. From the outset we were immersed into every aspect of blacksmithing. Will, a great teacher, was generous with his time and expertise for each of us. We were definitely working at different levels and supported individually to achieve our own piece of work. Will is very hands off, except when help is sought, with a great manner. Cannot recommend more highly! We loved it!!

We had a fantastic Saturday at The London Blacksmith doing the full day blacksmithing course. Will is a friendly, informative teacher who patiently demonstrated everything step by step. The whole experience was an absolute pleasure and we came away having made some pieces which we are proud to have in our home. Thanks Will for a fun day and for the teas, biscuits and mince pies!

I spent day with Will teaching me the basics of blacksmithing, and when I say basics I mean I came away with a ton of information. He's a great teacher and very experienced I thoroughly enjoyed my day and used the fire poker I made the same night I got home. If you want to learn and get an appreciation of what these guys do I can recommend a course. It's worth saying that you will be in a real working blacksmith workshop so don't expect to turn up in your Sunday best.
